@Taps fan That's really confusing since Barry specifically said the app was "for everybody" in the last ep. I took it to mean that even if you didn't get the discounts, there were some features on the app that everyone could use - like at least a list of recommendations. I was never able to find a working link to the book that they said everyone would be able to buy either. Sorted, I love you guys, and I don't mind at all that you have special content under a paid subscription! I think it's a fantastic way for you to get the cash you deserve. But that being said, I do still feel the book and app promos have been a little misleading of late, unless I missed something about them...
Would've loved to join Mike for his solitary doorstep pizza. It could've been the start of something beautiful. Or hilarious. Or a Missing Person case. Good times, all around.
Not only do I come to your channel for the amazing BANTER and food inspiration, it’s also when I want to plan a holiday, Edinburgh is definitely on the list now 😆
I'd like to see a marathon in Singapore. went there for a month of work experience and can't stop thinking about how much great food there was. I need to go back.
Nice diversion at the start with "Tartan Hunters." Now I've gotta find a way to visit Scotland myself (as though the food and the people already featured in these videos hadn't convinced me before).
Scotland is amazing. I’m Scottish, but moved away when I was a kid, and I’m never happier when I’m back home in Scotland. Scottish food is amazing, haggis is awesome, steak highlander (which is steak topped with haggis and either whiskey or peppercorn sauce) is one of my favourite meals ever, Scottish black pudding is 100x better than English black pudding, and chicken balmoral is something you need to try (chicken stuffed with blackpudding). The people are also just the best. I love being Scottish.
I have to admit. I loved Food Marathon in Edinburgh. My first and only visit to Edinburgh was in 1995. I loved it then, and the food looks amazing now.
I watched this with my kitten and she pawed the screen everytime she saw Jamie 😂😂😂😺😺 Great Vid, love these marathons. Lots of love from Glasgow 🏴❤️❤️
Gorgeous city, beautiful people, and amazing food! Great and unexpected adventure--thanks for sharing! I would love to see NYC, Paris, or Bangkok would be fun Food marathons! Y'all are the best!
Civerinos does have great pizza but Cold Town House down in the Grassmarket it slowly taking its crown, can’t believe you didn’t visit there especially with its rooftop castle view! You guys got a good mix of the cities food but missed out some amazing places on the Royal Mile!
OKAY LISTEN! I couldn’t even focus on the rest of this video because did y’all not hear mike’s voice @9:40 .. I didn’t know that was something I need in my life😍
I would like to recommend you come back to Texas and do a food marathon in Houston, TX. added twist you could likely do each dish from a different regional cuisine! Heck I volunteer to drive!
I'd have to recommend Oink on Victoria Street for some great hog roast, and Piemaker on South Bridge for a tattie dog and a macaroni pie - they kept me going through many a long day working at the Fringe :-)
Me: man this marathon looks fun and like something I'd want to try someday. Also me: I don't want to even imagine how much something like this would cost...
Omg, I love the "Hunters"! Not going to lie, I watched the Fountain Hunters segment sooo many times... the music alone was epic. Seriously, so stoked y'all brought it back.❤❤❤ Also, loving the "head juice" is what we do with crawfish/shellfish here in Texas/Louisiana... good job! It's the best part!
Edinburgh looks amazing, but what Jamie said about passionate, local restaurants makes me wanna brag on my hometown for a bit. Lafayette (and West Lafayette) Indiana only has a population of about 100k, and for that size the food scene is SO cool! I’ve lives here three and a half years now and still have a long list of places left to try, and an even longer list of unmissable dishes - the bbq corn pizza from cafe literato, the potato salad at petes diner, the skittles vodka cocktail at Bobby ts, the rueben from town and gown... i should stop before i get too hungry. Basically, Im heartbroken that the size of my city makes it an unlikely vacation destination, and yet people are missing out on such stellar, passionate food
These marathons always look like so much fun! You should cross the pond over to Canada and try eating your way around Toronto, the world's most multicultural city!!
Pass it on suggestion: you have to create a dish using only processed foods. (Like you can’t make a cake you have to use store bought cake or what have you).
I'd love for you guys to come to Orlando and the surrounding area and do a marathon here! Whenever people come visit they tend to stick to Disney or Universal restaurants, and while they're fantastic (especially the Disney resorts) there're some really fantastic hidden gems besides those. The area is a real melting pot, so you can find just about anything you could possibly want!
Next time you're up in Edinburgh I highly suggest Bross Bagels. They're a family owned company that does Montreal style bagels (to die for!) and they've got three locations in Edinburgh. Legitimately the best bagels I've ever had, and the prices are affordable too.
After watching all your videos I have come to one conclusion and one question. You all make me SO hungry! And After eating all those wonderful varieties of food, how is it that you all aren't suffering with Acid Reflux at night when you've gone to bed?
Been waiting for this aaaaaa!! Ben and tartan, adorable ❤😍 Could listen to Mike for hours 😍 Jamie and the pork, hilarious 😂 Barry bringing it home with a banger of a dad joke! 🤣
Ya'll should do some coffee related videos, because there's SO MUCH more to coffee than just 'it tastes like coffee' Different flavor profiles from different origins, roasts or processing methods - I've had coffee where you'd swear you were drinking blueberry juice, or chocolate, or stonefruit....
i love these!! it' s so great to see you find the most unique places all based on recommendations of locals! i know it's a tad far away from london, but would love to see you do these in taipei (or anywhere in taiwan!) love you guys
Mike really pulled the win out of the jaws of defeat here! Those tapas dishes looked seriously delish. :O And so did the various pizzas that were enjoyed at different parts of the marathon. And yeah, Barry's "Dad Joke of the Week" was smart and funny at the same time, well done that man. ^_^
"weve done 26.2 top dishes in 24 hours and we got some sleep. If thats not a major improvent on these marathons i dont know what is." Well well jamie good sir. Youve forgotten your achievement of getting the herb right too! Were all progressing!
Love all your content! Would love to see a pass it on extreme edition? Taking loads of weird fruits/vegetables and trying to create something completely new
Don't forget, you can head this way to find out how to visit these restaurants through the Eat app: sorted.club/eat/
Logging the list for when I visit Scotland later this year! Cheers guys!
I have been having trouble logging into the app with the id I use for the Sorted website. I have an account, but not a membership. Is that why?

The funny thing here is, about 26,2 (0,2), is that a dish count as zero point two here, not as ONE DISH
SORTEDfood how do you guys eat so much food yet stay in shape? 😂😂
Mike really was the MVP of this marathon! I stan Mike and great food!
He really brought it back towards the end!
I want more of Mike in these videos!
@Taps fan blasphemy! 😱
That little summary he gave on the train/bus at the end was amazing, he looked so stoned there hahah. Or maybe just tired, but who knows.
@Taps fan that's a sacrifice I'd be okay with.
Pass it on: 60 minutes, but make Jamie go twice, start and end. Bonus points if he doesnt know about it.
Yassss!! Or make the regular 50 min but have someone step down to make it more confusing for poor Jamie.
James wasnt in the video, but they did this, it went about how you expect.
lets call it Double Trouble (thats not me making fun of Jammie, thats literally what they called it)
Tartan hunters, surely netflix could pick it up! But only if ben presents it coz hes hilarious
Only if they continue fountain hunters too!
@@vanessaatalanta2475 good point!
Question is, did he buy the calendar?
@@timothygreer188 i wondered that too 🤔😏🤣
Ben's Dreamy and Intense eyes could sell almost anything... along with his excellent speaking style.
9:40 is this Mike's morning voice? Lmao I didn't recognize him I was like "wait who's this dude" xD
Mike's not a morning person.
Poor Mike, you guys really bullied him on this one. His eating pizza by his lonesome self reminded me the Keanu sandwich meme.
Amsterdam food marathon would be fantastic 😉
Or Berlin
Or Munic
what about a europe one. try to get to as many countries as possible using public transport and grab some typical dishes in each country
@@group555_ they would have to skip Germany to make the time though, the Deutsche Bahn is famously unreliable
Imo Amsterdam food culture is pretty poor
Got the tweet and stopped everything to watch Mike hopefully pull it together at the end! Go Mike go!
I live for Ben and his (insert thing) Hunters.
Hahaha me too
Time for Barry to do a solo food marathon to make up for being absent- or maybe James could take part as well
James could cook 24 dishes we recommend and Baz would have to eat them all
Would've loved to join Mike for his solitary doorstep pizza. It could've been the start of something beautiful. Or hilarious. Or a Missing Person case. Good times, all around.
Gentlemen! You MUST do one of these in Montreal! Give Canada some love!
“he loves the head juice” -jamie
a throwback to the old innuendo bingo video (would love an episode 2!)
omg Mike's morning voice is so soothing and pleasant
Ben pointing at the tartan hats on someone’s head made my night. Absolutely brilliant!
Barry excitedly asking if the dad joke was good, and how happy he got when Jamie said it was
Mike: When does a lamb become a mutton?
Ben: Two years
Jamie: WHAT’S A SHEEP THEN?! 😂
For pass it on, randomly divide the 50min instead of each 10min. (20,15,10,5min) Especially good if jamie gets like 20, and a chef 5 😂😂
*Ive done about 21 farts - Mike, 2019*
I'm sitting here trying to compete.
@@Annie1962 Going for 26.2?
@@Annie1962 i tried... i followed through..😂
Put that on a t-shirt!
It means that his gut is healthy. =D
All praise the Tartan Hunters!

The joy in Ben's voice is amazing in that last cafe. "Ooh, a savoury scone"
"If you wanna a good coffee then go to a good coffee shop"- Mike huttlestone 2019 , Edinburgh.
We've several good local indie ones here in Edinburgh.
Ben's salt and pepper coming through when they did the close up eating the cinnamon roll with apricot glaze... 😍
there should be more views and likes for this! bring food marathons back pls
I live for Mike freaking out but always saving everything.
Ben casually being the cutest human being 😍
Something tells me the boys learnt from the london food marathon, welldone lads

‘Head juice is the best bit’ thanks Ben for that.... knowledge
My comprehension of Barry's Joke, First Confusion, Then realisation and laughter, then finally visualisation and being grossed out.
I couldn't hear the last bit of the joke, can someone type it out for me?

Twist, Pull, Pinch, Suck :) It's how to eat Crawfish, but I'm sure it applies to head-on shrimp as well.
It’s late but GREECE FOOD MARATHON!! Lukamades are HeAvEnLy
I believe it is called Greek food not Greece food.
Ingrid Dubbel, I meant a food tour in Greece. Like this one is called Edinburgh food tour. Sorry for the confusion tho 😂😅

I would love if you did the marathon in an Irish city! Dublin maybe? Or Cork?
That would be cool!
that marathon was a lot of fun- I've been to Edinburgh loads of times but didn't recognise any of those places
