Brilliant! Until today I’d never given Saxon a listen. Stupid! This was quality. Enjoyed the riffs and the vocals were very likeable. Good rocking stuff Always assumed they’d not be my thing, luckily I heard them mentioned on the radio today and gave this a go. About time!
... check also out SIN STARLETT 🇨🇭 from Switzerland, masterful Heavy-Metal (Elias 'Eli' Felber on vocs, his voice reminds me somehow of Biff Byford aka Peter Rodney Byford of legendary long-lasting Heavy-Metal institution SAXON 🇬🇧) ... 🤘 🇨🇭
Great album, but each song gets progressively very slightly worse, in terms of writing quality. But in terms of performance, they’re all top class. Machine gun the last track, copies the basic template of Ace of Spades and the title of a Jimi Hendrix track. Perhaps that was to tribute them, or they were in a hurry to write the last song for this album. Still it was performed excellently and is a lively number. The explosion sound at the end of the track I thought was a bit odd, shouldn’t it have more machine gun style effects?
going to see Saxon tonight in Bremen/Germany. Looking forward to it ❤. Best regards to all SAXON lovers 😀🤘🥁🎤🇬🇧🎶

Agree and Strong arm of the law was a very weak album also, Dallas 1pm the exception as the guitar solo is mind blowing.
Diverse style of classic metal in comparison early Iron Maiden more prog influences (steve Harris) love prog rock...Saxon more rough and direct sound.
