And I'm seeing where they will flag you or demonetize you for something from months prior...even from before you were monetized. So it's discouraging to try to reach that goal, only for them to flag you for content AFTER the fact. That's that piss off! You have to have a backup plan tryna make money on here, bc they out here just ruining lives.

I'm glad that you'll be re-eligible in October! You should continue making (but not posting) videos until then and then you'll be able to post those videos consistently after you've been remonetized. I've heard that algorithm likes consistent regular posting, so it could end up being beneficial
im so sorry this happened. youtube screwed me over too even though i had express permission from the creator to both upload and monetize the content, which i included in the appeal. they claimed that "permission isnt ownership" and demonetized me anyways. reused content is one of youtube's worst offenders. i've seen people get clapped for completely fair use commentary, for translating/subtitling livestream clips, even for uploading their own twitch streams. hopefully you'll have better luck with switching up your content.

The person who manually reviewed your channel and still deemed it demonetized is the one who did you wrong. I understand how a computerized system may have flagged your videos, but any actual human being should have seen that you weren’t up to no good. Perhaps deleting the content was the real kicker. Maybe the reviewers can’t see videos that have been deleted, and so they automatically assume that the deleted content went against ToS, as a matter of policy? Idk, but it’s weak. If your channel got demonetized, then 100000 others should be right behind you.

Literally speaking to you from my Sims channel, but UA-cam loves to play too much. I had a channel strike on my main channel because a bunch of K-pop fans reported my video that I made like years ago at this point and so I’ve lowkey you’ve been in the doghouse ever since then, so I totally get it when you talk about how frustrating trying to communicate with UA-cam is. The fact that they did all of this nonsense over a UA-cam short is really what got me, but since you won’t be able to be monetized until then I would definitely recommend you do some scripting for popular topics to prepare for when they set you free in October. The fact that they absconded with 15 K of your money is awful UA-cam one day you will pay because what do you mean because of one short I lost out on 15 K… If Tommy has five apples… Then what the hell is this?? And the whole nonsense of reusing clips is wild to me because when you upload a UA-cam video, you know that you let it simmer a little bit before you make it public so UA-cam had all that time to tell you it didn’t like what you were doing, but no, they wait until the video starts to blow up and you start making a little bit of money before they shut down your dreams and ish. You know all I do is talk about culture society, issues, and stuff and what I do to get around the nonsense of reused content is that I use gifs from Tumblr and Google so maybe you can try that but best of luck having to build from scratch; this is extremely difficult for no reason.
