    Manchester United took the lead in the 23rd minute when Bruno Fernandes scored from a Marcel Sabitzer assist. Three minutes later, Mjelde doubled the advantage from the penalty spot after Antony Santos was fouled by Antonee Robinson.
    Fulham pulled one back in the 36th minute when Aleksandar Mitrovic headed in a Willian cross. The game turned in favour of Manchester United in the 71st minute when Fulham had two players sent off for a penalty incident. Mitrovic fouled Rashford in the box and then Willian pushed him over. The referee showed both players a straight red card and awarded a penalty to Manchester United.
    Fernandes converted the spot-kick to make it 3-1 and seal the win for Manchester United. Fulham tried to fight back with nine men but could not find another goal.
    The win put Manchester United one step closer to winning their first FA Cup since 2016. They will face Leicester City in the semi-final on Saturday, 25 March 2023 at Wembley Stadium.
