Thank Kennosuke Suemura. He was the one who created the great sound driver he used for this game. I just wish he used the sound driver for RPGs on the SNES though.
@@powerchordgamer It's not as simple as you make it sound to achieve good music quality on the SNES. The Audio Processing Unit had very little RAM so samples had to be really downscaled and manipulated in order for them to fit.
@@CyberLabStudio this exactly! This was a reason why games from many studios sounded muffled, especially Capcom’s Mega Man titles for the platform. Meanwhile Nintendo themselves, Square Enix, and Hudson had sound designers with serious skill in managing to fit crystal-clear samples within the SPC700’s paltry 64k memory ceiling
@@TurboPikachu This kind of skill is something I miss in today's industry. Now games have a size bigger than 100 GB and they just patch it afterward. Back in the day, the product had to be shipped perfectly and optimized.
I loved this song! Thanks for putting it up.....I remember as a kid I had some lyrics I wrote this song, "Super Booooooonk, is on his waaaaaaaay" or something bad lol
This is my favorite song in the game. Some musical group needs to play it live. :D
can someone explain how hudson managed to fir TRUMPETS AND A GRAND PIANO inside a snes. holy hell that sounds quality is amazing

the snes basically used midi. some games just utilized better instrument samples. it literally uses like .wav files for the instruments

I Love to Music!!! Twilight Space!!!
Super Bonk is a fantastic game!
Behold the power of a crab that can fly by spinning!
Heard this often in random mixes and never looked at what game it was from. Always assumed it was Sailor Moon. It's got that vibe to it.
この曲は隠れた名曲だと思う。あのハチャメチャな世界観のゲームの中でこの曲は光り輝いていた。

This song is awesome it sounds like megaman and Disney's World of Illusion
Best music track in the game imo. Beautiful, loud, empowering and sounds extremely good and impressive, sound quality-wise.
90s were the most imaginative times
True brother. Thank you Kennosuke Suemura
Saint SEIYAAAAAAA!!!!

Didn't expect an answer in this short period of time.
Anyway, I love this kind of sound drivers. They remind me of my childhood.
00:12 - 00:19 that part seems a little to the tune of Saint Seiya :D

Sounds like Saint Seiya series too.
