Love elephants, they just seem so majestic and calm, at times, but they do have families and a social structure.

Amazing. Interesting contrast between the behavior of the male and female. I agree that's likely because of the car being closer than she wanted.
I don't know elephant behavior, but wasn't the female flapping her ears as the car neared an indicator she wanted more distance, even before she vocalized?

You should be putting some of that brain matter to work to at least TRY and understand how the elephants should react.....shameful, just shameful. Soooo why didn’t the driver move off of the road so the beautiful elephant could continue on its way in peace? It would have been more awe inspiring had the driver moved out of their way and not almost hit one with the car and forced the poor elephant off the road. I truly enjoy watching encounters with all the wildlife as long they’re being observed from a respectful distance that doesn’t hinder their natural activity. But no, per usual humans with our sense of entitlement expect a giant elephant and a herd of elephants to move out of our way.

Even reptiles sneeze/and recognize .
