I got my first miniature kit for Christmas 2022 and I've been addicted since. This is a good one to start with. I hope this video helps and you have fun building yours.
Thank you for the video. I got a present on my bday, it's my first book nook, and I stared for like an hour at instruction trying to understand the step 2 (lamps), got a panic attack until realised someone must have build it already. You helped a lot ❤ now i'm on page 17
My compliments and respect for these crafty movements and great result! I got several nooks already, but mainly stacking and clipping process of small wood parts. And even with those it was already tiring to glue some tiny parts... So this one got as a gift and realise how precise those movements should be, with all the sticking, glueing, cutting and pressing. Thank you for the detailed overview, it was reassuring to see someone handling it. hope I manage to be as meticulous as you😅
oh thank you thank you! such a great video. My first kit and so many of the photos are tiny and blurry and unclear. Worse than an IKEA instruction pamphlet lol. I was stuck trying to figure out why I was supposed to glue the decorated wood sheet behind the sheet with the lamps in it! I still can't figure out why, but I see you did it so I will too
Thank you for the video! My friends gifted me an exact Cherry Blossom Alley DIY and I was too afraid to start it myself, as I do need to see how someone does it. Amazing!
Thank you so much for making this video. I bought the kit after seeing your video. How on earth you made it look so easy?! 😅 i spent the 1st hour just staring at the instructions, especially on how to wire the battery. Once that's figured out, it was a super fun ride.
I'm so happy that you enjoyed my video and decided to buy the kit after seeing it. 💖 That's so awesome. So glad you're having so much fun building your kit.
wow, this look samazing, I bought mine a year ago, and just bought the tools that I think I need to build this. How long should a beginner estimate to build this? And any additional tid bits of advice you can offer?
Thanks! It took me about 2-3 weeks to finish working on it almost every evening. My biggest tip for these kits is to spend some time to quickly review instructions and get organized before you start. I have a short about how I organized this project somewhere on my channel 😂. Good luck on building your book nook!
Great video. I just purchased this kit and there seems to be some serious gap in the instructions. This vid will definitely get me out of a jam if I need it. Quick question, what glue did you use? My kit didn't come with glue. I'm thinking of getting Aleene's Gacky Glue. Maybe?
I'm glad you find the video entertaining and helpful. 😄 Aleene's tacky glue is what I use most but it doesn't dry instantly so I use painter's tape or clips to hold pieces in place while glue dries if it doesn't stay on it's own. For glueing on paper use a brush or qtip to apply a thin layer of glue or mod podge to avoid lumpiness
What tools shud I buy ?This wud be my first book nook or even a DIY thing. I don’t even hv a clue on what tools are necessary, now seeing this ig I shud hv gone a bit easy on myself and shud hv chosen a novice lvl one 😂 Help is highly appreciated 😂
@@gagandeepsinghoberoi6638 Hi. You will definitely need a good pair of needle-nose tweezers, scissors and an exacto-knife. Aleene’s tacky glue is my go to if the kit doesn’t come with glue. You might also need a ruler with either mm or cm measurements depending on the instructions use. Other things I like to keep on hand are cottonswabs and toothpicks. Bonus tool would be a wire stripper tool to remove the tubing from the wires but you can also just use the knife or scissors very carefully. Hope this helps and remember to just have fun 😃
@@ateenytinyworld881 oh my god you are a lifesaver , after seeing your video I spent half an hour just to realize the tweezer was called needle-nose not a regular one. Rest u can figure out how much wud I hv spent had u not replied.😂 I will be eating your video in and out for the next couple of weeks , pausing ,rewinding , sitting in awe wondering 💭 how this person does all of this with such finesse. Instruction’s intimidation is now gone after seeing ur video and I’ll be having fun 🤩
I’m so glad I could be of help. Let me know if you have questions as you work on yours. 😊make sure to like and subscribe. I try to upload videos monthly but it hard with work and life .
I just bought two of these. I got one for my mom's birthday and one for me to redesign to make a spooky village. It's very detailed and haven't started. You make this look doable thank you. Does it come with the glue I don't see any in the bags so far
A spooky village sounds like a great idea! I don’t remember if this kit came with glue. I use aleene’s tacky glue for a lot of these kits and they have a quick dry version too.
Thank you for posting this video. I got this exact one for Christmas and it'll be the first miniature anything that I piece together.

I love all the little trays for pieces, where did you get those please? I'm going crazy trying to keep stuff organized.
