I applied for a job that require Level 6C - Moderate to High-Risk Public Trust clearance, and got denied for employment last week which has taken about two months for a feed back, it was back in Dec 26, 2023. I started my first round soft background check that pulls my credit report then after that will be going though USAccess to set up an appointment to be fingerprinted electronically, next steps after that will be setting up eQIP site to enter more information required for your background investigation, etc. This system will have a SF-85P document to fill out. So my question is since this is my first time applying for a Gov job, and they only pulled my soft credit report (which is small credit report only 3 pages long), and no other steps taken after (like getting my fingerprinted, and filling out SF-85P), what would go me denied for the position?, I tried calling my contacts and no one is answering or reapplying back to my calls and voicemails. Just want to know the reason why. If I want to apply for another Gov job with the same L6C, the document requires a reason why I was denied.
