Ok I’ve a question, I don’t consume Cannabis but my wife who’s disabled uses cannabis for pain management she uses a vaporiser for her delivery system, I’m constantly worried if I get stopped and swabbed am I going to show a level of THC from passive consumption where I’m in the same room as my wife while she is vaping? My wife doesn’t drive so it’s never going to be a problem for her. Kind Regards.

can you do a video about cannabis prescription and work place drug testing. Can you be sacked even if you have a prescription etc..

Generally speaking you can be terminated for grounds which have to do with your medical cannabis use ... ie. Your under the influence and act negligently, causing an accident/injury or damage to the reputation or professional image of the business at large.
You can not be fired, generally speaking, for simply being a medical cannabis patient and your employer discovering this on its own. They would likely need to paint a narrative of your inability to adequately perform your work, due to the fact that your now taking medical cannabis (even though its in your own time obv). With UK labour laws, they'd have to navigate it carefully unless the employee just roll over and accepted it but someone sharp would definitely have grounds for wrong full termination in such a case

@MoAli-wm4of it is a very interesting subject due to the fact its now a legally prescribed "drug" and there are opioid drugs that cause symptoms such as drowsiness that seem to be OK with employers, if its prescribed. Surely it should be treated the same as any other prescribed drugs

I think the government should be ashamed of its self for having such ridiculous drug limits. How can it be so that you can have 10 times as much Ketamine in your system than Cannabis yet still be considered a safe legal limit ketamine is a dissociative anaesthetic i cannot imagine how dangerous it would be to operate a vehicle whilst on Ketamine yet if you had one joint 3 days ago you considered impaired that just doesn't seem scientifically accurate. So hats of to this solicitor for trying to find ways to fight back against policy which isn't fit for service and is penalising ordinary people who may enjoy a smoke from time to time.

Utterly disgusting type of lawyer helping criminals get away with wrongdoings which will enable them to carry on doing it again.

Explain your life experiences and why you think that drugs affect one’s ability to drive?
Come to my house and il show you that I stutter less with a bit of weed before a big business meeting. I own a construction company and have a bad stutter? Show me medication for my stutter ?
Actually come to my house and watch me scientifically destroy your idiotic arguments about what a criminal is.
Write back to this message and we can discuss at length why you’re a complete fool if you think that all drug driving convictions are the same?
Absolutely disgusting behaviour. You little melt, respond to this message if you feel you have a valid point to make.

No m8, I do not agree!
I commend him, he is only evening out the playing field!
I received a 12 month ban yesterday. I was not pulled over for no good reason. I was driving carefully and safely, within the speed limits. The reason being that a drugs marker had been placed on my car for a previous incident. I have had a clean license for the last 34 years without ever having an accident. I consider myself a good and competent driver. I would probably failed the drugs test at any point in those 34 years. I do not consider this a fair tactic on the part of the police. I wish I had seen this video earlier, might have come in handy. Sound advice. Thank you.
