Fascinating, isn’t it?! But not only is it countless individual moments in time, it’s also everything you are at any given moment right now. You are, right now, in mind body and spirit, all those moments combined.

So I'm a big Radiohead fan but I'd never heard the king of limbs until a couple of days ago. I avoided it because many people regarded it as their worst work but holy shit, I thought it was amazing. Bloom, codex, lotus flower and give up the ghost have to be some of my favourite Radiohead songs I've heard. And I love the others on the album, no complaints really

Definitely agree. This album is tremendously underrated. It came out during a very difficult season in my life and helped me walk through some things. Gorgeous arrangements, unique song structures...haunting. If I had to pick a low, not that Radiohead actually have any lows, but if I must, it certainly wouldn't be King of Limbs but likely Pablo Honey. Their entire catalogue is superb though.

I would say you only live as long as you can remember yourself. Other people cannot truly remember you (they don't know you that well) , and sometimes, you can't even remember yourself (whatever the self is).
Your life plays out in your brain, and your brain has a life of its own. So, things may not be as you think they are, and the truth may not be as you remember it.

@Dynarc524 The movie is called Metropia. It's loosely based on the novel 1984 by George Orwell. Radiohead's album O.K. Computer, as well as a handful of other songs were also loosely based on Orwell's 1984. So that is why the two compliment each other nicely. My compliments to alemoon2012 for making the connection and posting the video.

I've just rewatch Chuck and noticed this song in the 4th season. This is beautiful.

Is there anyone out there who can explain what's happening musically from 2.45 to 2.55? It's the absolute saddest thing I've ever heard in my life. It sounds like hope played backwards.

It’s called contrary motion where the melody descends as the bass rises. It’s unbelievably beautifully arranged. Musical chills

The entry of the brass gives a new dimension to the song. The brass part is written in such a way as to considerably enrich the harmony, and to embellish it with dissonances which give chills. What I find wonderful with Radiohead is that they constantly renew the arrangements. Even with a simple form, in three verses, they manage to reach an emotional climax. They are excellent composers.

I used to drink in the early morning to this many many times. I didn’t realize how much of a mess I was then, but I get it now. Just amazing in every way. I’ll occasionally still do it to capture this moment.😉

Always thought this song was such a beautiful piece, about a rebirth of some kind and then they play the very same song at the end of the season finale of Westworld

I've been listening to Radiohead well over 5 years, and was elated to find their music in Westworld. Ramin Djawadi has a great taste in music.
One thing Westworld did good was introducing people to Radiohead/Good music.

This song is dangerous. Does it make sense that the feeling is just as much empowering as it takes you down. I feel almost as if i could just stop breathing but peacefully so. At the same time i feel like the world is everything i never see in it or that its just there over the edge
