Absolutely agree, had this on repeat this past week. Such a beautiful song to just sit and reflect. Some bands make music that makes you wanna dance or sing, Radiohead makes music that makes me want to live
@@breuk04 nah, king of limbs is better than Pablo honey and the bends imo and I actually think the B-sides like staircase and the daily mail are some of the best songs they've done in recent years.
i prefer king of limbs to hail to the thief, which sounds more like a "last album of record contract" which it was. the last 4 songs on KOL are excellent, with codex being one of the best songs ever recorded,

I listened to this song over and over again on the drive home from a beloved friends funeral out of town. It will forever be his song. Love you V. Xox, V.
"Some people choose to see the ugliness in this world, the disarray. I choose to see the beauty. To believe there is an order to our days. A purpose." Radiohead + Westworld = everything ❤️
I love this song. There is just something about it that really moves me and relaxes every muscle in my body. When I close my eyes ...I literally see the music in my mind
i came here after two days of nonstop listening to this song, feeling like it was always there, deep inside of me... and wondering if others had the same experience with it. i need to share it with others. it calls to something primal and at the core - telling the story of human history. it is saturated with the beauty and pain of the ages.
Everybody keeps talking about the song - this video makes it a million times better. I can’t stop watching it over and over, even though it takes a part of my soul every time.

Oh, so that might be why she'd brought him back. Because he brought her back too.
Recently revisited radiohead again, been all about this song for the last week. Mother fuckers blew me up with this song at the end. Super coincidence.
"Sleight of hand Jump off the end Into a clear lake No one around Just dragonflies Fantasize No one gets hurt You’ve done nothing wrong Slide your hand Jump off the end The water's clear and innocent The water's clear and innocent"
Joachim don't be ridiculous that's one of the most absurd (and sadly oft-repeated) misheard lyrics ever :/ the correct line written and sung by Thom is (in English not American) "Just dragonflies, fantasised" .. you're welcome, but thanks for the laugh anyway.
I've never come across a song that rippled into the depths of my soul so poigniantly yet enigmatic such as this. I still don't understand it, but it feels so right. Thank you for listening. Thank you for creating. Thank you for caring. I'm grateful to all of you. 🙏🤘
@Dynarc524 The movie is called Metropia. It's loosely based on the novel 1984 by George Orwell. Radiohead's album O.K. Computer, as well as a handful of other songs were also loosely based on Orwell's 1984. So that is why the two compliment each other nicely. My compliments to alemoon2012 for making the connection and posting the video.
Love it when your favorite series use great songs that you sometimes forget. Thank you whoever decided to put this song at the end of Season 2 of Westworld.
I've never heard music from a band that was so gloomy and depressive that actually helped me in a time of crisis. There's a truth to their lyrics, a profound presence to their music that just makes you lose consciousness of the human physical realm. I truly adore this band.
I could not agree more as to the beauty of this song. I would be hard pressed picking a favorite Radiohead song, but this is right up there with their best material as far as I am concerned. It pulls at the heartstrings and haunts me beautifully.
I agree, I struggle to find my favourite song. I have found that depending on where I am in my life, my favourite Radiohead song changes. Anyway, I might be in the minority, but this is one of my fav of their albums. :)
i’ve seen them 16x since THE BENDS and i’ve found that each album they better themselves in some way. i’m not into KING OF LIMBS at all, but this song exceeds anything they’ve done before. it’s very understandable that it’s hard to find a better song they’ve done, but i would nominate ‘India Rubber’, ‘A Reminder’, ‘4 Minute Warning’ and of course ‘Talk Show Host’. :)
So I'm a big Radiohead fan but I'd never heard the king of limbs until a couple of days ago. I avoided it because many people regarded it as their worst work but holy shit, I thought it was amazing. Bloom, codex, lotus flower and give up the ghost have to be some of my favourite Radiohead songs I've heard. And I love the others on the album, no complaints really
Agreed! Super underrated album. Seperator is also really good too. I used to listen to this album over and over when it came out. Then I did the same for A Moon Shaped Pool when that came out my senior year in undergrad.
Definitely agree. This album is tremendously underrated. It came out during a very difficult season in my life and helped me walk through some things. Gorgeous arrangements, unique song structures...haunting. If I had to pick a low, not that Radiohead actually have any lows, but if I must, it certainly wouldn't be King of Limbs but likely Pablo Honey. Their entire catalogue is superb though.
@Tudor 'Teus' Mihai I would say you only live as long as you can remember yourself. Other people cannot truly remember you (they don't know you that well) , and sometimes, you can't even remember yourself (whatever the self is).
