My dad retired in 1990 at 59 and I would keep him busy when I was building my new home. He would work around my house keep the yard up and when the house was finish he would do the landscaping and plant the grass seed and got my grass growing then he and my mom would do some traveling. He was always busy until he passed away at 90.

I'm not even a tech and I enjoyed spending over 49 minutes of my life watching the fixing of a leaky toilet. I have a degree in computer science and yet these things fascinate me. What is wrong with me.

While the two fields of interest are different in contextuality both requires a systematic methodological approach to problem solving to produce a successful outcome. Learning to critically think in one area of life should because of transference allows one to achieve similar results in other areas of life. The more dots/pixels in the picture of live the better clarity of the pictorial view of the Totality of Reality.

Great job. My old American Standard toilets used a sponge gasket. When it leaked, I attempted to use wax. It just would not seal. Even with a double wax gasket, still leaked. Ended up going with an OEM sponge gasket and it worked.

I lost 40+ lbs recently. If I go to my highest weight, then I've lost 70 lbs. I avoid all the processed foods. I would eat Ramon noodles, because it was quick and cheap dinner. I made a huge meal with mostly veggies. Then I would add fish, shrimp, and chicken. I would add veggies, that has lot of water content. The meals were similar to what Steve would do.. everything in one big pot. I measured everything out in 1 cup scoops and I bought meal preparation containers from Amazon. It came out to 24/1 cup meals. I go the gym 7 days a week and swim for 2 hours and since it's getting cold outside, I walk around the gym, instead of outside. My Brother-in-law went from 350 lbs to 215 lbs. If he can lose weight, then I could lose weight.

I’ve had bad luck with those brass rod flush handles. There was a retired plumber working at Lowes and he said that the plastic handles actually last longer. He also said that the metal rod handle should last longer but the connection of the rod to the exterior part of the handle always seems to fail. I installed that plastic handle over ten years ago and it hasn’t failed.

Kohler used to make a great toilet back in the day. They'd suck a turd 5 feet long down the drain without an issue and the parts would stand up to a lot of usage, wear & tear over time. Kohler Wellworths are all I'd put in. But they are garbage now. Total garbage. They've overcomplicated a very simple design with this high efficiency low water flush garbage. The parts are cheaply made but are stupid expensive to replace if you go for genuine OEM Kohler parts. Lots of better toilets out there today.

When putting the johnny bolts to the flange make sure to put a washer and nut to secure your johnny bolts from moving when putting down the toilet. I install toilets for a living. It will make your life easier when installing a toilet.
