This brings back a lot of fun memories for me watching this one. When the group that I play regularly with ran this game 4 out of the 5 players failed absolutely every single dice roll we were required to make in the game, the 5th player literally had to carry the team and accomplish every task and encounter on his own.
That is what I was waiting for! I am just planning to run this one shot, and as a beginning Keeper, your videos are always a great way to prepare a game, especially combined with RPG Nook and/or Seth Skorkowsky. Big thanks from Germany! Btw, ever seen the movie "The Lighthouse"? Also very helpfull, especially the soundtrack, for setting the mood.
Skill and Attribute check in prewritten scenarios that have varying successes based on regular, hard and, extreme rolls. On those that would not normally give a different result. A keeper could give indication of how effortlessly a player succeeds. This may entice players to burn more luck early on.
I'm a new Keeper but experienced GM ( DnD, Mage Vampire and Aberrant), I am about to start a CoC game set in Ancient Greece. Do you guys tips or recommendations? Thank you in advance!

Horror of Fang Rock, is the classic Doctor Who episode you (Thom) were thinking of. I've watched it several times, including 2 times in 2022 as they stream those on Pluto now.

I love the mention of Anna Tilton of Newburyport in this :D I always love to see a direct reference to one of the HPL stories :D
I'm new to Coc, nice to see this video.

Running this in 5 days. Very inspiring. It's on campus, so no guns 😂
Fang Rock I believe was the Dr. Who episode. Good show. Thanks folks.
I wouldn't call this the modern Haunting, but this scenario is definitely engaging.
Thelonious Glump is a glorious name
