🖐️🇵🇱🖐️ One time I went to the Mercedes forum. They have a problem there too. One of the Mercedes fans gave a prescription for this ailment, at the output of the cable from the diesel pressure and temperature sensor, remove the insulation of the cable so that ON can flow freely and not go further from the insulation of electrical wires. Colleagues have already written it, but I will repeat myself, great and professional job. Congratulations and best regards.....😉
Yeah I got this problem on my F11, I just opened the housing for the ECU out of curiosity and it was filled to the top with diesel. I took it out and sucked the diesel out, cleaned everything and it's fine. I just ordered the sensor because after I did the job I forgot to order it, you just remembered haha 😄
This problem is not related to vibrations. Diesel fuel reach the engine ECU through wires by capillary action inside them, after the sensor you mentioned failed. There is not much you can do to prevent this from happening, maybe you can replace the wires going from sensor to ECU with anti capillary effect ones. Nice job, as always! Tine-o tot asa, Ovidiu!
You are perfectly right ✅️ just Google it out and find it: Capillary action is the phenomenon of a liquid flowing in narrow spaces without the assistance of, and in opposition to external forces like gravity. In many wire and cable applications water and moisture migrate through the conductors shorting out and permanently damaging electronic circuitry. Every day you learn something new!
Low pressure fuel sensor needs to be replaced - that is whats causing the leak - cannot get separately - need complete pipe assembly with sensor built in.
Nice job! However what can be done in order to prevent this for happening again in case of another sensor failure? Perhaps a hole in the harness insulation to provide an escape route for fuel? Yes an exit for fuel can be an entry point for water and dirt adding that the wires insulation is biodegradable leads us to a poor design or perhaps this is part of controlled obsolescence witch bmw practice extensively for all their cars since 2004... Congratulation!
Was thinking about leasing a 2015 gt with a flood branded title, just as a get around, after watching other videos and seeing how extensiveyour other repair was, im wondering if most mechanics would even go those lengths. You are crafty with this car stuff, i enjoy your videos I like the space but will probably go with another car, thanks
i think the better way is to heat up with infra red lamp because ir rays penetrate heatsink and will be reflect from pcb and heat from glue side i dont try this but i try when need
Salut Ovidiu , in afara senzorului care citeste presiunea si temperatura combustibilului eu am gasit motorina si in mufele injectoarelor la b47 deci problema se pare ca vine din doua locuri...
Hi once again excellent video. Quick question. BMW F20, 2013, 2.0 petrol. Customer damage old/original DME when trying to open. Damaged microchip and track. How could you program a used DME to the car if I haven't got data from the old DME. I managed to get ISN number, DME-CAS password, key password, bit can't read Eeprom, Dflash files. Any suggestions please. Thanks.
Hello! Replace the ECU ideally with a new one , if you want to use a used one you need proper tools to be able to change the ISN ... the procedures and steps are things that cannot be discussed here! , all the tools that are able to do that have a support team and instructions !
Hello , i have a question , is there any way to adjust the sunroof? without the electric modality (holding down the button) I have a disturbing sound from the wind. Bmw f10
Hello! holding down the button recalibrate the sunroof ( the end stops ) it doesn't adjust it! to adjust it you will do it manually by releasing some screws ...
Is it possible to turn the unit upside down for few days and let it dry without opening unit itself? I know diesel will leave a film on it but it should be ok without liquid fuel in it I am worried of bending it...
Hi Ovidiu, I have the same problem on 530d LCI F10. Can you please tell me how BMW is calling this low temp pressure sensor? I want to search for it on realoem. Thanks hommie 💰

Such a beautiful car f13 😍 Cheap sensor causing mayhem 🙃
They are sexy :D !
Common issue on newer gen x1 diesels as well, think it's the F48 model with b47 engine
Any more info on this? Think my X1 might be suffering with this

perfect. I want to learn ECU repair. What do you recommend for the devices I should use? Thanks
You need to learn and understand electronics!

I've vad a similar problem on a e61 , with a diesel flood in the fusebox behind the glovebox on the passenger site ... faulty diesel filter heater ...

Wow you are pure Wonder Man..Mega Perfect Job..
I will have some questions for u if u can help me with my e63 635d errors
Thank you Ovi
contact cleaner maybe would be better for cleaning chip - instead of brake cleaner.. ?
You can use contact cleaner also !
This is a crazy fault isnt it.. Cant believe it! Awsome that you got it fixed tho!

Bravo
Me owning a 2011 X35d 😮
👌👌👌
Ovi love your vids. Any suggestion how I may upload ISTA+ Having a tough time finding the correct ISO to load.
I have no idea, but try to do some research. You'll find information online

Te rog frumos, spune codul la senzor pentru n47
wow you really have balls removing the pcb from the backplate :D
The pcb doesnt like bending and can go bad after a while :(
Yes, you are right
How does the atmospheric pressure sensor work if the unit is sealed?
the unit is not sealed hermetically , have a breathing point the round plastic cap on the metal case
Engine Cranks because of this issue?

@@MOvidiu sorry, the screws where is ?
What are the symptoms? I mean, is diesel conductive?
Yes the diesel is conductive . as errors depending ...lots of errors regarding engine sensors..
Când apare videoclipul cu frana de mână?
Salut Alin! "Frana de Parcare!" nu cred ca va fi un clip cu ce se vede pe masa .
@@MOvidiu ar fi bune dacă ai face si dacă se pot repara am dou stricate

next time use some brake cleaner to soften the silicone . it will make your life easier.

You will find it on fuel preparation. You need to order the line with the sensor and engine wiring harness
fyi, that is packing tape, not scotch tape
Yes ! you are perfectly right!
