This might be my favorite interview I’ve heard with Lecrae. But it was dope because 1) KB and Ameen were such great communicators. 2) y’all were all free 3) and I walked away full too from the way y’all communicated about God Bless y’all!!
The courage. The truth. The camaraderie. The perspective. The experience. The transparency. The wisdom. The sincerity. The levity. Just a beautiful and rich conversation. Thanks gentlemen. Truly appreciated.
While I also agree with this, I will also point out that one major problem with this is just how overblown some of these cases were by the media, considering some of the more nuanced situations, or more relevant in what Lecrae & the cast were talking about, JUSTIFIED situations like Michael Brown.
“Can you really know grace, if you only theologize it?” Mhmmmm and failure should create empathy! 🔥 🔥 Love it thanks for a being blessings to us guys , I pray that we take it and create intentional dialogue in our lives
I’ve been reading Dangerous Jesus. I will not lie I am not a big fan of chapter 5 Justice. But this podcast episode sort of opened my eyes and brought a new understanding to me that connected with that chapter of your book. And it’s not that I don’t disagree with police brutality and what has been happening to Black and Brown people. To me, it’s the way the world through media and BLM the organization have manipulated us to where I could not get behind it. But I also had a “blind spot” of the conservatives making a social issue that is hurting people political when it does not have to be. This was a great episode to watch. Thank you all for your work and spreading the message of Jesus
Mannnn this episode was the best thing ever, I found Crae and kB when I was about 16 through my older brother I’m 28 now and still rocking with you guys. You’ve been such a blessing to me and my wife through what God is doing through y’all. Grace peace and love from the Bahamas 🇧🇸 love y’all forever man.
FACTS!!! DECONSTRUCTION IS EVERYTHING!! It IS Protecting My Peace for me!!!🙋🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️ That song came at a time when my own daughter betrayed me, and I thought I was going to lose my mind because God didn't give me clearance to "defend" myself!! Suffering for righteousness sake WILL come with a cost; I just wasn't ready!! BUT IF GOD SUFFERED, why not I?!! "Don't count it strange when we fall into fiery trials..." Lecrae's song helped me to be able to focus on my peace instead of the problem! The ENTIRE CC4 is bananas, but I won't write a book here❤❤❤
Y’all are dope fr man. To go from jokes to convictions to jokes to sermons to jokes to lifting each other up…this was like a real conversation that I really appreciated 🙏🏼
I appreciate the fact that Lecrae was able to let his hair down on this podcast. I really appreciate his truths and his views on each topic and also being able to express himself freely as he answers each question. Thank you for this 🙌🏾
Three grown men in a room just chillin and having a blast in each other's company. We need more of this in everyday society, not just participating in it through a screen. Bring these days back man.
Wow! I don't understand how I just found this channel being an artist myself but this is healing for me brothers just listening to you guys talk through all these complex issues! I was struggling with the race issue also but not because of race but because I feel less understood by most in my own home church because of the culture I come from and it's made me question my artistry as a Christian within the genre of hip-hop, funk and soul where hardly anyone around me understands or listens to that. To go another layer before I became an actual Christian I came out of a religious cult environment that were Professing Christians which is hard to relate to everyone with. So I feel like an outcast sometimes. Still God saved me so I thank him! Been in the faith 5 yrs now by God's grace. All in all..please pray that I can walk without doubt or fear or caring what others think into what God has called me to do with my music! Thank you so much for this. It was helpful. God bless y'all! God be praised!
31:40 brought me right back to Man up Anthem and Authority. Such good biblical, powerful, get you going songs for me in middle school and even today as a husband and father! It’s unfortunate people twist that but Jesus is Lord so let’s follow Him.
Thank you for this podcast I always leave feeling encouraged and challenged. Hearing Lecrae talk about chasing fame is like chasing wind challenged me to check my heart and reflect on the need for my name to be acknowledged even just in my small circle when I am doing some sort of ministry. BUT what I should be focusing on is for Gods name to be glorified and to continue planting and watering those seeds for His glory and not my own. Thanks guys
Bros, this was fire! 🔥🔥🔥Thank you for sharing your hearts, it was so encouraging to me. Love to y’all, and more grace for your race in Jesus’s name! 🙏🙌🔥
My first time watching. Much wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and Love in this conversation. If your a believer and Filled with Holy Spirit you can't miss the truth that was spoken. If you did then you weren't listening. I really like Lecrae and what he is doing. Southside Rabbi is well needed. The presence of Christ and His Glory was there.
Been waiting for the goat to appear on this goat podcast. I loved it. Thank you brothers for allowing God to use you all to disciple many of us from a far. 🙌🏿
Thank y'all for all you do 🙏 sure aren't a mascot but y'all def caught my attention for Jesus when I was first searching and I'm forever thankful, y'all are doing it right!!!!!
All Glory to God! I’ve learned something here and great interview. Yeshua the king of kings and gets all the praise. He’s coming back and as we wait we keep on dancing, singing, Praying and know the Holy Spirit is within us. Thank you Jesus.
I want to say thank you for this. This is the first time I have listened and felt a genuine connection and the rawness of what it looks like to follow God in Spirit in spite of our hungry flesh. That last 30 minutes was truly a blessing for me God bless you.
There's something about how Black men communicate like this that always makes my soul overjoyed!!! Well worth the wait!!!! The gems and flowers given were absoutely everything!!
Soooo Soooo goood!!! Watched the whole thing start to finish. So many gems in this fellowship. Thank you for the transparency and allowing us to get a view of your experience. Many blessings from Dallas, Tx!
What Lecrae said at 1:03:57 hit me deep. I am now in college at Ohio Christian University and trying to get rid of this burden of me being an outcast. I know this sounds completely out of the norm, but please keep in me prayer. 😥🙏✝
Gentlemen, thank you. This is one of those episodes that I started listening to while working on other things, and then just had to stop and focus my attention on your conversation. Please keep up doing what you're doing. You are a tremendous blessing and encouragement!
Definitely best season so far, I’ve actually been rewatching the episodes cause their so encouraging and help me think about how I can live for God practically.
listening to this discussion I couldn't help but think of Gal. 2:11-13 where it mentions how Peter was so influenced by "his people/their traditions/their lifestyles/etc" that he allowed the gospel to be pushed to the back so he could keep his old/natural identity which took center stage and caused him to create divisions in the body of Christ...2 Cor. 5:17 lays out how Peter should have viewed himself...along with Gal.3:26-29...and the Holy Spirit through Paul gives us a great reminder in Phi. 3 that we need to count all those old "identifiers" as rubbish and move on in Christ...loving others and keeping the main thing the main thing...which is preaching the Gospel and teaching others about Jesus...without getting caught up in how others view us but realizing we are His...no matter race, culture, etc if we have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior...we are brothers and sisters in Him now.
I haven’t finished I’m on the fame question but this episode is extremely great for me. Y’all asked the stuff I wanted to hear from him. But more than that just the fact that this intersection exist on y’all pod is something I really need. I appreciate y’all and how God is using y’all for this. It’s valuable.
It's wild hearing from someone viewed as a mature believer fall for something like politics and evangelical ideologies. All that is, is one of many forms of psychological warfare/social engineering to divide people in groups to be easier controlled and profited from; and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Even the church buildings themselves have compartmentalized God with all these denominations and buildings; which is why I'd rather mediate on the word myself and do street ministry like John the Baptist and the early church in general. You already know these accomplishments and accolades are filthy rags onto God, and nothing we do will gain his respect. Ultimately, it's simple in concept (but difficult to put into action); love God with all your heart and love your neighbor, and extend that grace and love of Christ onto others. Respect for being so transparent.
This might be my favorite interview I’ve heard with Lecrae. But it was dope because 1) KB and Ameen were such great communicators. 2) y’all were all free 3) and I walked away full too from the way y’all communicated about God

Thanks for rocking with us, Rashad!!
On everything ❤❤❤❤❤
I speak for everyone as I say “we’ve been waiting for an episode with Lecrae.”
Absolutely!! It was just a matter of time.. 🙏🏿

Have you seen the one with Tim Ross and Lecrae on The Basement?! 👀🤯

Hope to meet Lecrae one day, God used his voice to charge my spirit in 1 day. Thanks Lecrae! Love KB too.
The courage. The truth. The camaraderie. The perspective. The experience. The transparency. The wisdom. The sincerity. The levity. Just a beautiful and rich conversation. Thanks gentlemen. Truly appreciated.
🙏🏾🙏🏾🔥
Yes, i was caught off guard too, because I also thought that believers was going to step in and speak out about unjust killings.
While I also agree with this, I will also point out that one major problem with this is just how overblown some of these cases were by the media, considering some of the more nuanced situations, or more relevant in what Lecrae & the cast were talking about, JUSTIFIED situations like Michael Brown.

"Fame is a drug" ... true words
Danggg! I want an intro like they gave Lacrae😂 I’d feel like I can accomplish anything in the day 😂😂😂
Interview is great but that part about Rebel album and going to school with temptation all around you....is deep. I'm felt the same way!!
Literally got introduced to Lecrae through the "Rebel" album through my middle school days. Crazy relevant.
Been waiting for the goat to appear on this goat podcast. I loved it. Thank you brothers for allowing God to use you all to disciple many of us from a far. 🙌🏿
