hearing this version i think "aged like a fine wine" Blue bird was amazing at the time and is arguably one of the most iconic pieces in anime history. and what i get from this version of it is that it's been awhile and things are different from a first tasting but this....this version brings a tear to my eye cuz it's so damn good
I really enjoy when bands keep ''updating'' the live versions of their greatest hits. Kiyoe's way to sing the song is little bit changed, the song itselfs feels heavier and the new instrumental version with the guitar being louder is just amazing.

It’s very similar to “Hikaru Naru” by Goose House from Your Lie in April, even if Blue Bird was made first. And Blue Bird is actually one of the easy japanese songs to learn, for non japanese speakers, despite the high tempo, much easier than Hikaru Naru, and Unravel is very easy to learn as well, it’s just very heard to sing vocally, especially for men, cause it’s so high.

I always loved how clear, powerful and unique Kiyoe's voice is, her live performance sounds as clear and beautiful as if she was singing in a studio. It's so easy to know if it's Ikimonogakari just by the voice.
Realizing almost 3 generations have listened to this legendary song gives me chills... Kiyoe-San's voice is amazing even knowing the fact that the song is 15 years old. A total milestone 🙌🏻 ❤
15 years has passed since the initial release of this song, and this performance is such a perfect tribute! Her skill is simply FLAWLESS, the voice control is precise and perfected down to every single breath. And the confidence and strength felt through their performance! That level of being confident, or comfortable, comes with years of experience, practice, and belief in their music. I listened to them when I was young , and now Ikimonogakari has become a real senpai in the industry that Im sure lots of newer groups look up to. 👏 I love her happy smile after delivering such a great performance too ❤ They surely should be proud of themselves!
It's always interesting seeing how other people drum! I started off as a percussionist before I transferred to playing bass, and the drummer here being so good with a left-handed hi-hat is so cool to see! My band teachers always scolded me when I tried to do that, and I was pressured to change to a right-handed hi-hat, so seeing this is a throwback to my origins. Love it!
Hearing it today brings back so much nostalgia. Her and the band bring so much life to the song. You can tell she genuinely loves the song herself with her visual presentations!

それ言ったら90年代に活躍してたミュージシャンは大半がそうだよ。

当時のブルーバードはもうただひたすらがむしゃらに翔けることに夢中でって感じだけど今回のは駆け巡って飛び尽くしたそれらを大事に想い返しながらもなおも羽ばたいていくみたいで凄くエモい。

I always loved how clear, powerful and unique Kiyoe's voice is, her live performance sounds as clear and beautiful as if she was singing in a studio. It's so easy to know if it's Ikimonogakari just by the voice.
Realizing almost 3 generations have listened to this legendary song gives me chills... Kiyoe-San's voice is amazing even knowing the fact that the song is 15 years old.

15 years has passed since the initial release of this song, and this performance is such a perfect tribute! Her skill is simply FLAWLESS, the voice control is precise and perfected down to every single breath. And the confidence and strength felt through their performance! That level of being confident, or comfortable, comes with years of experience, practice, and belief in their music. I listened to them when I was young , and now Ikimonogakari has become a real senpai in the industry that Im sure lots of newer groups look up to. 👏 I love her happy smile after delivering such a great performance too ❤ They surely should be proud of themselves!

I started off as a percussionist before I transferred to playing bass, and the drummer here being so good with a left-handed hi-hat is so cool to see!
My band teachers always scolded me when I tried to do that, and I was pressured to change to a right-handed hi-hat, so seeing this is a throwback to my origins.

一昨日2024/05/26に横浜桜木町のぴあアリーナММでツアー最終日にこの曲をライブで聴きましたが、腹の底までズドンと来る歌い方にボーカルの聖恵ちゃんの声量は落ちて無いどころかパワフルで鳥肌が立つくらい感動しました。やっぱりいきものがかりは良いのひと言だな。

聖恵ちゃんの歌唱は年と経験を重ねて、深みが増したね。元々、上手いのは当然として綺麗な声だったのを声量を意識してパワフルに歌う歌唱だったけど、近年は音程をさらに安定させて歌い方に変えてる。
Hearing it today brings back so much nostalgia. Her and the band bring so much life to the song. You can tell she genuinely loves the song herself with her visual presentations!

小学生の頃いきものがかり大好きだったんだけど解散してから見るのをやめてしまってた。けどうつ病になって入院する時に持っていったミュージックプレイヤーに入ったいきものがかりのアルバム(昔のものほとんど入っていた)を全部聞いてやっぱ好きだなと思って一昨日2年の入院からようやく退院した。それでおすすめに出てきたこの動画みてたら涙出てきた。

I heard that for shows like this there is usually automatic editing between the mic & the output, but don't quote me on that and they might not do that on this show. Also, her voice is definitely amazing, but I'm just saying it's hard to say if things have "no editing" in this day & age ya know?
@@Sseptember Well, this isn't raw vocals, it has editing, but the "good kind of editing". That being EQ, compression, etc.
