- Finally got to upgrade my camera so here's some footage with the BM 6k G2. Also challenged myself to create a little cinema short with just the one battery that came with the package.

Would love a tutorial on your shooting and lighting settings as one thing I found about this camera, it needs a lot of light.

@@jaredfilms had you lit all your shots in this short film, or were some shots just natural light?
@@quiztasiarocks first two all natural, and then had a tube light for support. Especially for the last bench scene since it was dark af also shot that wide shot at 20,000 iso 🫠
@@jaredfilms 20,000 ISO, jeez. Did You need a lot of NR to rescue the shadows in resolve? Lol

Amazing... how long does this internal battery last??
lasted long enough for me. Always depends on resolution compression and framerate though… that’s how you can also save battery life. If you want the details watch the video I showcased it

How’d you film this? Just with a tripod? And how did you focus? Did you have an external monitor to check the focus since the screen cant flip out and around? Or did you use a follow focus for the scenes with movement since it doesn’t have continued autofocus? Btw crazy nice visuals in the short was wondering if I could “steal” the short and try to make my own version when I eventually grt my camera:) just for practice
Just a tripod and an external monitor on a cable. I set focus on positions where I‘d be and that’s it. Also sure feel free, just tagg / mention me (:

Sag mal das ist jetzt sehr random, aber ich ich will die Chance nutzen, einen Experten fragen zu können :) Ich bin gerade auf der Suche nach einem (oder mehreren) guten ND-Filter. Kannst du da irgendwas empfehlen? Variabel oder feste Stop-Zahl? Ich will sie ähnlich wie du für Kurzfilme mit der bmpcc 4k benutzen.
