Interesting techniques. Just shows that the martial arts can always be improved, reinvented and taken to a new level. Kudos to the 52 Block Sensei.

This is what I mean when I say, "you know what the hell you're talking about". There's a lot of science according to this type of defense, and the way you explained it, shows that it took some studying and applications. "Applied sciences". When that book comes out................ SALUTE BIG UNKLE 🖐️✌️🥊🔥

I love your channel!! The body to head blow after the catch is beautiful! I've been self practicing a lot with what you've been teaching and it is pretty effective of a system!

Hiya lyte...i was sparring the other day..said person i was sparring against was southpaw and had his right hand constantly extended...just like connor mcgregor...after getting fucked off with this position i threw a tight right hook caught his hand extended...pulled down and threw a left.hook at his head worked fairly well considering it was the first time i have ever done it. If you could maybe do a video on dealing with the rear hand in the book reading block that would be great !! Greetings from uk

Of the catches I know this is the most effective .I've caught plenty of hooks with it,although you are both in the same position ,the catcher is ahead of the beat at that time as the puncher was thinking "bang hook to the jaw" he wasn't thinking I"'ll throw this hook and then my arm will be tied" up so the catcher has time to off balance him and hit him as he was thinking "I will catch this and hit" LGD

Got any brothers in Baltimore that teach 52? My uncle was killed when I was 8, but we played basic hand games with my cousins. I'm not sure if he knew anyone in the 52 system.

That block I crane it's in the tiger crane form looks different with gloves but it would be a cranes beak it's very good technique when used properly and with good timing hung gar boxing can be very useful in street fights if you can find the right timing and distance for each move the statement that Kung Fu is useless is bs cause 70 % of street boxing and all martial arts come from some form of Kung Fu even just jitsu it's just people haven't efficiently learned how to apply it I prefer boxing cause it represents the leapord style and snake a bit more with lightening fast strikes and angles but I use tiger and crane for grappling only thing I have trouble with is foot work and understanding the chisau I try to avoid locking my hands up like you say I prefer the limb destruction of Kali and silat over trapping hands

from everything i heard i believe he did exist, all of his stories were told by those who were just coming home, who may have seen him action or just heard about him,he was known for the catch an kiss tech, which was meant to disrespect his opponent,he was gay an there are some who say he only fought when that was brought up an some say he was a predator
