it is mainly because she couldn't give it unless she was defeated. plus she didn't have control of the core, hence why she couldn't maintain the shield for longer than she did at the beginning of the entire battle of Wardington City (which started when Marucho engaged that fish thing.

Not exactly. I've been studying some abilities of several bakugans as of late. This ability is possibly either a combined ability of Darkus and Ventus or Either of the two.
