Carnival Queen is such a beautiful looking game. The "Magic Screen" feature Bally incorporated on this fantastic player is sensational. I had a few "Magic Screen" games in my collection of Bally Bingo Pinball Machines and enjoyed them a great deal. Thanks for posting.
I was suggested this after watching one of pinballhelp's "pinball stories" (a very sad tale). Mike over there was talking about how complex internally these are, although he didn't demonstrate the gameplay, so thanks for explaining. As a collector who knows his way around electromechanical machines pretty well, I would not want to maintain one of these things. That's some serious functionality implemented with relays and stepper units! To the other commenters who've commented they want one, you'd better know your way around one of these things, or know someone who does, because I can imagine they need a hefty dose of maintenance on a regular basis!
Hi, thanks for the great comment. I’m surprised someone recommended the video to you, I guess I did something g right. Actually if you have some skill, maintaining these machines isn’t too hard. Its primarily cleaning the hundreds of contacts and lubing the moving parts. The biggest challenge is troubles shooting and understanding how these machines do what they do. I love EM machines and have always gravitated to them over solid state or computerized arcade machines and pinballs. I’ve owned many but have sized down a lot in past years. I did love this machine one to another owner but I replaced it with a Chicago Coin Speedway I’m currently working on.
Thats because we would play to make money back in the day . It's based off odds . We would bump it control where the ball hits without a tilt . Best Pinball Machines out there !
