Lots of TV shows have this same type of character, like I was watching that Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated cartoon (everyone is a teenager), and Velma is pretty much the same character. Monotone, likes gross supernatural stuff, in love with a goofball ..... It's just a trope .... Sometimes the character they give that personality isn't even young
