I love my Cyclone RC, every once in a while, I take mine to an empty spot on a Microtech forest and just drive gir 100 kms oooooor so. I also recommend going to Euterpe where there is a black ice ocean and you can drive across it. Great video guys.
Another great adventure you could have is to go to hdms Edmond at hurston and drive to lorville! The scale of the game really hits when you see the lorville tower on the horizon and remind yourself it's still a 30 minute drive away!
@@FistandJawa Yeah it can be a bit tedious (and it's worth taking a trip to the Lorville garage first so you know where your "end point" is located.. But i've done it a handful of times now. I've done it in an srv, a mule, an ursa, a cyclone. I tried doing it in a hoverquad but didn't make it more than 5 minutes away until the hoverquad exploded..
Great video, it's the most complete i've seen on ground vehicles. I think you forgot to talk about Cyclone-AA's countermeasures. It has a good amount of flares and chaff to protect ground troops from incoming missiles. I love the Cyclone series, great vehicles from Tumbril Land Systems.

I could see some fun uses for any type of tracker or beacon, but itd be smart of CIG to tie it to a small vehicle, so it didnt come too easy or be OP, esp for pirates! Quick question: Im sorry if I missed it but did you mention the approx detection ranges of these, or just the base variant? Thx again...
Hey dplusavg. I only did detection ranges from the RN and it matched all the other Cyclone ranges. So the "upgraded" long range scanner isn't a thing just yet. Same for the Hornet tracker.

Has the ability to put laser weapons on the cyclones been fixed for 3.18? In 3.17 you can't put laser weapons on the the MT or TR as there is "no capacitor" to charge the guns.
I don't think you can use laser weapons with the Cyclone TR or MT. Erkul shows that the turret has 0 capacitor fill rate or regen pool, and when you try to equip a laser or distortion weapon it shows the turret DPS drop to 0 (It still show some alpha, which doesn't make sense and is almost certainly just a bug in the Erkul code). This would be consistent with your ammo count showing 0/0 as it did in your test, and the same happened to me when I tried equipping a laser weapon as well. I'm pretty confident that this is intended.

A lot of other people also seem to think that lasers work, and I imagine it's one of the first things that was tested by anyone that purchased a Cyclone initially, so it seems like it HAD to have worked in the past for this idea to still be so prevalent. That being said, not too many people seem to use the Cyclones as much anymore, so it's easy to see how a change like this may have gone mostly unnoticed.

Does anyone know if you can for personal weapons from the passenger seat??? Like can you actually ride shotgun and uk... Fire a shotgun?
