Interesting, i'm new to last epoch and this type of game and one of the first build that caught my attention was the voidknight version of your build with smite damage converted to void (which looks less pretty ^^'). It took me some times farming in monolith with my warlock to get those idols... but thanks to the lvl 3 of CoF i got my first 3 idols instead of one (ngl it was quite satisfying and lvl up with it was a piece of cake). Did you also tried the smite hammer throw voidknight build ? I'm interested if you know the main differences between these two build and why did u choose the Paladin version ?
I tried it before with not very optimal gear. I was thinking about checking it out this week. Might have to do that. Despite being similar in playstyle, they require different kinds of gear, so I can't really just equip my Paladin stuff. I got a few pieces to work with though
no, unfortunately. you can use hammer throw at lvl 2 and get smite after putting twenty points in the sentinel tree, but to make them work together, you need idols. They are called Keen idols. This would be a build to transition to once you get a few of those and some idol slots. Thanks for watching and subscribing :)
you need a specific kind of sentinel idol called Keen idols. They are bird shaped and take up two by two slots in your idol tab, which means if you got four of them, you can use all four. They give you a chance to proc smite on throwing attack
