I believe you can get an AUX for it, but I think the proper one is the connector on the bottom left.

thats called thae AI-NET port i think. you can get the adapters on ebay but im pretty sure none of them are alpine brand (if they ever existed)

I think that blue cable is specifically for iPod - but a subset of its pins do carry audio so there might be a way to use that for an AUX-like input. The recessed connector is closer to an AUX type input - expecting to be connected to a CD changer using Alpine's Ai-NET connector. It can easily be used to bring in audio; I think you even change the source to "AUX" for this playback, but I'd read the manual specific for this unit because Alpine has a lot of ways to connect to the various inputs. I HATE that this unit doesn't have an AUX input on the front panel! You can by an Ai-NET to RCA, or 3.5 mm, or various adapters for < $10.
