It's interesting what you're saying about where to get the money for higher fee from. I've heard that restaurants already get charged quite heavily on each order, we need to keep them happy as well

To clarify what was said about fees...In order to offset a driver pay increase agaisnt restaurant fees you would need to increase the fees charged to restaurants not decease as stated.....
Interesting twist to the video. Making it about the bike. It is in it's perfect environment. Urban area. Short drops. They still have a long way to go to be practical where I live. That range would get me to the shops. Then I would need a full charge to get home. Plus my drive is largely on open country roads at 100Kph. Don't think I would want to be poodling along on that competing with B double cattle trucks. If I lived in Brisbane it would be pretty useful. But if you think London drivers are bad. Try Qld. Act first. Think after. Every time I go out on a motorbike I am sure someone is trying to kill me. It never felt that bad all my years riding in UK.

Hi, I hope you are well. Just a personal question. Do you live on the ground floor? I got an NIU NGT Pro 2019 model, but I'm planning to sell it only because of charging and weight issues. I live on the 3rd floor, and every time, I have to carry two batteries upstairs to charge it. Which is so inconvenient. I wish I could charge it outside like all the electric vehicles.
7.50 for 5 miles. Even if I equate that to US dollars I would call that decent. It’s a touch over a dollar a mile or pound a mile in your case. And I consider a dollar a mile delivery especially in my gas vehicle to be good. And I say that when I consider here in the states most truckers are paid by the mile and it ranges from 60 cents and some make a dollar per mile. So I’d say a dollar or pound per mile is a good rate anything less is losing money

About what you said about the 5% decrease from restaurants... the restarants that had contrancs before Covid are charged 20% with Deliveroo.. the new restaurants that have contract now with Deliveroo they charge 40% now .
that "taking a photo" isntead of scanning the deliveroo code is the only way i pick up orders. My phone simply wont scan anything not even the official deliveroo font and paper xD

So if you almost never go past 20 miles / h, whats the point of riding around in sport mode?
In sport mode it has the quickest acceleration too. I also always ride in sport mode for that reason.
