Hi, it depends on the role and cerifications. For any bachelor's degree it would be 4 years, graduate and doctoral programs are another 2-8 years. Again it varies based on the specific degree you are interested in. I'm in a Undergraduate program now majoring in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Human Development and Family studies. I also an a CNA so I've worked in nursing homes and home health care. The specific field of providing care for older adults is called Geriatrics! Do some research and try to find something you feel is best for you.
