i always tell ppl that if you wanted to see Point Guard Lebron then THIS is the season to watch. one of my favorite Lakers teams. everyone fit their role nearly perfectly.

I’ve been thinking about scheduling the 2020 season from first game to last due to not watching a single Mavs game ( 44 years in DFW ) or any other for that matter ; couldn’t even tell you who the Late Show played in the Finals but without a doubt I could wisely say that Luka cried and pouted and stomped up and down as his hissy fit would continue under our basket while T.H. and J.B. struggle to play 4 on 5 at the other end of the court . After that , it’s all a mystery ( of course except for the Late Show getting it done . This will be kinda cool . Congrats Late Show . ; )

This was a true definition of the Lake show! They were lobbing balls all year. This was complimentary basketball all the way around. I told my buddy I felt this laker team was going to win the chip well before COVID happened!
One of the few years of watching the NBA where I watched almost, if not, every game of the season. The hype from getting AD in the offseason and seeing them try to win the chip was one of the most exciting times of being an NBA fan.

Rondo & Dwight were the key peaces that got them over the hump experienced veterans that were out of their prime but still affect with high Iq plays and locker room presence Danny green as well was experienced coming off a title with the raptors and 5 yrs prior with the spurs. Well, i see him that Pelinka wanted to make a younger roster due to small ball... He got younger legs like Schroder, Harrell and two solid veterans like Matthews and Gasol but these last two players werent the players once were even as role or key players. Schroder came to make it easier to Lebron, being the main PG but that wasn't his role at all. That was too much for him. His role with Ham was the best for him, off bench and being a stopper making clutch plays. Harrel, was athletic but lack of post defense, size and rebounding. In the other hand, Rondo and Bradley didnt want to renew with the Lakers seeking a better contract. One other thing, before the injury plague these roster was 21-6 at some point... which means healthy they were pretty good but then once LJ and AD got injured, everything started to going down. Schroder didnt step it up and there was no plays at all for Kuzma. We got Drummond but was too late for him because the urgency was already at its peak. So i blame for this things.. 1. Injuries and 2. Some not great additions to have a depth bench like Matthews or Gasol. 3. Schroder wasn't the kind of guy to get the job done a second or first attacking option. He choked like he does, thats him. Should've kept their 2020 champion roster? Yes but with adding a few new additions but that just my opinion.
Man, Danny Green was part of Spurs, Raptors and Lakers for the championship. Perfect shooting guard for star players. Defender, tall for position and 3 point shooter.

As a lakers fan I loved this squad playing together. every single one of them fitted so perfectly and they all knew their roles. If they would’ve kept the same pieces together maybe they’ll have 3 championship by now together.

After watching Game 3 vs the Warriors, I can see the hunger for a chip. They just need to be stay consistent in Game 5 and then I can really see them winning the championship
It's such a fun team to watch. They didn't need crazy roster, they just did what they were capable of and had fun every game I remember people say they're too slow to do something, but in the playoffs we know that you need concentration to do it all. And while teams were trying to outrun them they would just be ready for them in the paint 💪
