Ah yes Moscows famous “stairs”
Me being a sarcastic asshole aside the level of detail is nuts they didn’t have to go all out with the accuracy but they did. I can’t imagine what it must be like to a Moscow native to see their city with such an accurate coat of apocalypse paint.

When it comes to analysing Metro's architecture, geography and building arrangement, one is going to realise that the world is really inaccurate. For example, "Teatralnaya Ploshad"'surface is just a strange variant of "Serpuhovskaya Ploshad" mixed with some genetic stuff associated with Moscow. This is a common situation among all the games and it completely spoils the whole atmosphere for those who live in the city. I can also mention, that subway vehicles are from Kiev's metro - according to their model and color scheme. I can give more examples, but the main idea that Metro games just give an impression of Moscow for foreigners since they feature some "typical and stereotypical" designs.
