Can you explain the difference of the use of the word "rebellion" used in 2 Thess 2:3 compared with its use in Mark 15:7? Different Greek words are used and the one in Mark can also be translated as "insurrection". How would Paul's rebellion in 2 Thess. be different with the rebellion/insurrection of Mark 15?

We do get a lot of people from out of state coming to the ER including West Virginia, southern ohio, Kentucky and Pennsylvania to name a few…….I’m moving on to another hospital in the Area my prayers are with Ed and his family🙌🏾👆🏾🙏🏾

You're right, he's not joking. I started watching a sermon on the flat earth, but I had to stop half way through because of the amount of rubbish he was talking. I thought he only ever preached about Preterism. If the Hebrews genuinely believed the earth was flat, they got it wrong because at the same time, the ancient Greeks worked out the earth was a sphere.
This is what happens when you rely on Sola Scriptura. You become a fundamentalist, and rely solely on what the Scriptures say. This flat earth nonsense proves that Sola Scriptura doesn't work because cosmological knowledge has to be updated. These fundamentalists like the flat earthers, bring Christianity into disrepute.

True Israel gave birth to the Church following the Ark of the Covenant, likewise the true Church follow Israel & the Ark
It was not the intention of God to contain his Holy Ark of the Covenant in a temple cut by hand unto his words "Heaven is my throne & earth my footstool " but for the sake of David allowed Solomon to build it, not surprisingly it never found rest in it meant to dwell in the hearts of men (Ye are the temple of the living God) so became removed & the temple destroyed, The only reason for the 2nd temple was for the Messiah to enter it & finding it Corrupted used the whip to overturn the TABLES, the tables of the leavens of the Pharisees (Jews( & Herod (Gentiles) the leavens of the LAW/FAITH resp After which the temple was destroyed before which was filled with Zeus
Now intending to rebuild the 3rd temple only to fill with the man made hinduism (Egypt) with its 33 milluon gods veiled in THEOSOPHY mingled with FREEMASONRY revealing Zechariah 5, incidentally the two lamb like horns off the 2nd Beast of revelations, the White house rather the White Horse of the Apoclapse, except that which restrains the rebuilding are the Muslims rather Islam, till the restrainer be taken out of the way, & the temple filled with the said Abominations lead to the serpents Lie at Eden "Ye be as gods " (without God) Man as God, to the Abomination of Desolation as spoken by Prophet Daniel, ushering in the Day of the Lord (Joel) ,

Just heard another preacher bring up Johanan levi as the man of sin. I believe he was in AD 70. He sat in the temple. This preacher believes the flat earth. Levi did sit in the temple and added up to 666 and paul did say the mystery of iniquity doth ALREADY work. My question still is, is dual fulfillment or “near fulfillment/future fulfillment” viable? I still hold to that for now. Millennium is easy. It has to be either A-millennium or historic premill or some kind of mix of the two. Definitely is not dispensational premill as it is totally blasphemous and post-mill seems to have some problems. So what view of the millennium is correct is easy by process of elimination. It cant be two of the views. Timing of rapture is easy and happens at the very physical return of Christ when He comes back to judge the living and the dead. And brings His New Jerusalem and he and the father make their home fully with us. That is easy. Tribulation was promised to us so that is easy to figure out BUT whether there is an end time persecution on the entire church in the whole world for one year or 50 years is the only question. 50% of the church in the world has been persecuted for decades to centuries now. Countries like America are an anomaly when it comes to persecution. Daniel’s 70th week was fulfilled.
My question that nobody can seem to answer is, “Is Revelation divided into two time periods? If Johanan Levi was the man of sin in AD 70 and he has to be, WHO was the false prophet or does this prove the dual fulfillment idea of near future fulfillment and then future fulfillment maybe in our time?” If a second similar thing is to happen in the VERY last days on a grander scale, would that justify two evil men, a second man of sin we call the beast or antichrist along with a false prophet doing many false miracles not from God that we don’t have an answer for if taking the preterist-only view fully? It also says Christians will be killed by beheading IN SUCH MANNER in Revelation. The Christians in AD 70 escaped to Pella and were spared. Who were the two witnesses? How was the WHOLE WORLD of every tribe and tongue deceived by this false prophet by the very miracles he did if there was no false prophet doing these things in AD 70? Do you have any answers to these questions? I am at a loss in understanding past a dual fulfillment view without having a solid answer on these issues.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Beheading is very specific here and words like kill, or destroyed which are vague and can lend to a symbolic understanding could have been used if we are to not take the WAY they died literally. And it is known now that the modern Sanhedrin wants to pass the Noahide Laws upon the whole world. Its beheading for Christians as is written the sub-laws because Christians are seen as polytheists by the religious Jews and they claim what is called “partnering” making Jesus equal to God therefore are worse than Hindus. Appreciate any answer. I nave been studying end times views for about ten years now. Some things are obvious while other things are not. Thanks!

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
It doesn't say the man of lawlessness it says the man of sin Son of Perdition this is in reference to two men the Roman Emperor Vespasian who led the Roman army in 67ad to begin his attack on the Jews in Galilee is the man of sin the rider on the white horse in Revelation chapter 6 but the Roman Army canceled their attack on the city of Jerusalem because of civil war and had to retreat but then when the Roman Army returned in 70Ad Vespasian placed his Son Titus to lead the Roman Army and Titus had to order that the Jews food supply be cut off in order to break through the last wall and then famine which brought about cannibalism set in their was one woman that the Romans caught killing her child for food it was a wide spread famine throughout Judaea.
And after breaking through the last wall the Romans began to kill without mercy even hanging Jews on the cross to die a slow death but the sword was mainly used for the Roman Army weapons and Ballista's which was used to shoot stones and rocks and while the Temple was on fire Titus desecrated the temple he entered into the holy of holies and poured out the daily blood sacrifices and offerings and brought into the sacred Temple two harlots and had intercourse with them on the Altar over the scroll mocking God with his sword believing he had defeated Almighty God He also did worse than Pompey and Antiochus Epiphany 1V who sacrificed a pig Titus sacrificed a pig an Ox and a Ram he sat in the Temple of God showing himself that he is God.
In verses 6-7 of
2nd Thessalonians it says.
And now you know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time .
For the mystery of Iniquity does already work only him who now letteth will let until he be taken out of the way .
And in both verses the Bible uses as a footnote

The one that is restraining for when the man of sin and the Son of perdition is revealed is Jesus Christ this coincides with
Revelation 5:1-8
5 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
The lion of the tribe of Judah took the book out of the right hand of the one who sits on the throne which is Yahweh the Almighty God the lion of the tribe of Judah which is Jesus and the Almighty God are both that work in combination as the Restrainer and in Revelation chapter 6 once the seals were opened the revolt broke out in Jerusalem in 66ad by God sending strong delusion and Jews begin to kill other Jews and Jesus told his disciples that this generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled and this is why he said no man knows the day or the hour not even the angels in heaven most preachers teach this as referring to the end of world history but it was not referring to the end of all times but when the Jewish revolt would occur peace was taken away from Jerusalem which resulted in the war of 70Ad and Famines in deaths all over Judea set in.
According to the Antiquities of Flavius Josephus the war of the Jews Josephus wrote that there were 1.1 million Jews that died in the war but me personally I believe that it was possibly more because According to
Revelation 14:14-20
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
In verse 20 it says the winepress was trodden without the city the word Winepress in the Greek is the word ( lenos) which means a trough or a vat the power of the Son of man caused the ground to collapse and created a trough in the ground and the blood went up to the horses bridle because the angels were given hooks and it was outside the city of Jerusalem as far as 200 miles.
Josephus wrote that there were Armies of Chariots in the sky all over Judea and the Roman Historian Tacitus wrote that there were Armies of Chariots in the sky pouring down fire onto the Temple this all coincides with
Revelation chapter 19 most preachers teach that this chapter is about the second coming of Jesus Christ to rapture the Saints but Revelation chapter 19 is not about the rapture of the church but this is referring to Jesus coming for war to pour out his judgements on Jerusalem and the temple
In the book of Jude he said it best.
Jude 14-16
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
And verse 16 is describing those Sects of Jews that were Antichrist because they did not believe that Jesus was the Son of God The King of the Jews they told Pontius Pilate that we only have Ceasar as our king so Crucify him and let his blood be upon us and our children and the blood of the prophets and the Saints they had to pay for in 70Ad but the blood had to run its course and the wars in Jerusalem commenced from 115ad through 1967ad the six day this was according to what Jesus said when he said that there will be great tribulation not since the beginning of time and No Nor ever shall be "
And Israel's curse was lifted by God in 1948 when they became a nation again and then God finalized his sovereignty over Israel in the six day war.
These wars were according to God's will Satan had nothing to do with these wars Satan was prohibited from deceiving and attacking in Jerusalem during those years this is what the Bible means by Satan was bound for a thousand years.

It concerns me deeply that you seem to advocate a flat earth. It is absolutely verifiable that we are on a globe. And if you think that there are biblical texts that support a flat earth, that would make me call into question how you’re interpreting the biblical text for preterism.
I was taught in late sixties through the seventies we are the temple where our soul dwells, we should honor our temple taking special care of its dwelling.

often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. 1 Chor. 11:23
The coming of the Lord in this context speaks of the coming of the Lord in vengeance to execute judgment upon his enemies this was spoken of throughout the law and prophets.

2 Thessalonians 2 is the tilling of the temple it will stand till G-D == takes it out of the way in 70-77 AD Jesus was anointed at 30 years old, (Daniel 9;24), Jesus left in 37 AD to end the last 7 years of Daniel 490 year Prophes, == (Acts 1;9 )returned in 70 AD for the judgment on Judah forty years ( Ezekiel 4;6 ) the last 7 years was in ( Ezekiel 39;9 ) you do good work == Shabbat - Shalom.
Proclaiming himself to be God may in fact be a proclamation according to his action not necessarily his words - he himself is taking his seat in the temple; God had not appointed him to do so, he is an usurper. Just a possibility or another way to examine that statement.
What this message lacked was an Old Testament source and gospel sources for “the rebellion”. The rebellion of 2 Thes. 2 is from Ez. 37-39. Israel was to rise to new life, but against her was to rise up (in “the resurrection of the unjust”) enemies, Gog and Magog for the war, the eschatological battle. The rebellion is also taught in much more detail in Daniel. In Dan. 7, the Fourth Beast (second temple Israel) suffers a rebellion when the “little horn” overthrows its legitimate predecessors. This rebel rules for “time, times and half a time” before being destroyed by the coming of the Son of Man who brings the kingdom of God and destroys the kingdom of the rebels (second temple Israel). The same is explained in chapter 9, when after the 62 sevens an anointed one is cut off by a rebel figure, the prince and his people who precipitate the fall of Jerusalem and her temple, the Second Temple. This figure stops the sacrifices for “half seven” that is for half of Second Temple Israel’s final seven. The same thing is explained in chapters 11-12. Israel under Antiochus Epiphanies resists him and repels him, ending the Greek kingdom’s power over Israel, Dan. 11:32. Israel then becomes an independent kingdom, the Fourth Kingdom of Dan. 2 and the Fourth Beast of Dan. 7. The appointment time of the end, however, is a long way off and meanwhile we have 2 groups in Israel, the wise and the foolish. The wise do not prevail or dominate, Dan. 11:33-35. At the appointed time of the end, a new figure arises, not “the king of the North” and not “the king of the South”, but instead “the king who will do as he wills” who arises not from north or south but from Israel itself, Dan. 11:36f. Dan. 12 then explains the significance of this king. He brings the “Great Tribulation” on Israel, and leads a rebellion “many who sleep in the dust awake .. to shame and everlasting contempt”. This shatters the power of the holy people when he sets up the abomination of desolation and brings the rising of the saints as evangelists.
This rebellion is also mentioned in Is. 66:24 and Mat. 24:7.
The rebellion was apostate Israels rebellion against God who subjected them to Rome even as he had subjected them to Babylon in times past while in that captivity they were supposed to realize they had turned away from God and repent but they would not they chose rather to rebel destroying their selves and their city finally ending with the Romans crushing them.
