I just bought a yamaha guitalele because it had a bigger body than most guitalele. Was disappointed that it didn't have a 20 inch scale. I wanted a large body one with 20 inch scale tuned to A that had nylon strings and the yamaha one was the closest I could find.
I am very pleased to be able to understand english even if is american😂! Difficult to find somerhing about in French ! Thank you so much. I found of ukes... but I often play with guitar players or pianist... so, I am looking for something stronger ... but I have small hands and fingers... May be guitalele is thé One I need... a hybrid uke! What do you think? May be an opportunity for a Gretsch on (electro acoustic)
Hey Terry! My husband bought me a guitalele for Christmas! I used to play chords only guitar many years ago. But life and divorce etc got in the way and I'm back to wanting to play against so guitalele it is. I've been working on it and a lot has come back to me. Still having trouble with stretching my fingers and barring. Any tips will be welcome. I know I need to practice a lot, but still, would love to have some tips. Do you out out a chord chart somewhere i could print off? That's what I need right now.
Ukulele is a lot easier to find tutorials on, since it's more mainstream, and there's also more space between the strings. Ukuleles are also generally easier to find and less expensive. So I'd say ukulele.
I've been playing the guitar for 40 years but for the last year I have been playing the Ukelele because I didn't have the space for a guitar while hiking and sailing the world. So....is the Guitaralele tuned and played like a guitar? Hmmm maybe I will want to check one of these out. On a guitar I am a snob when it comes to fret action so how are these?
YES, I have a Yamaha Guitarlele, the only one I 've found in Kenya, and already following your amazing course that I highly recommend :-)

Woooow... I didn’t know the guitarlele
Which one to choose from Ukelele or Guitarlele while starting as a beginner on string instruments?

ADGCEA
It's tuned like a guitar with capo on the 5th fret.
If you want the same tuning you might want a 1/2 guitar.
