You can sell furniture - pick it up, box it with C and you'll get the sell option on the left side of the screen, I think it was F but I might be wrong. The game is great but at some point it starts to feel too much like working instead of playing. I think I'll give it a few months for the burnout to die out and then continue. Meanwhile I'm having fun watching other people struggle ;) Good luck!
Thank you for the tip, I will look at that next time I record (unfortunately I have already recorded next weeks videos but the week after I will address your tip. I can absolutely see where it would start to feel that way. But to be fair every game has a burn out factor to it.
