Nobody remember who Miss World 1972 was, but everybody knows who Linda Carter is.

miss world deserved to be miss USA Linda Carter. also miss UK was lovely. after all Linda Carter became famous as a Tv series Wonder Woman.

Lynda Carter is Miss World as far as I'm concerned!
Lynda Carter has always been and will always be so beautiful
So Lynda Carter lost Miss World in 1972 won by Miss Australia and later played Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot lost Miss Universe in 2004 won by Miss Australia and also later played Wonder Woman.

The irony is not lost in it. Both Wonder Women fail to capture the World Beauty Crown. Lynda the Miss World title in 1972 and Gal Gadot failed to capture the Miss Universe title 2004. There is only one answer, the Judges were drunk!! Or maybe they got bribed by Australia on both accounts.

USA was never a favorite at Miss World, although she's won a few titles over the years. Just like Miss England has rarely done well at Miss Universe. Rival organizations, you see!😅😅
