Tbh Fuse is one of the most balanced characters imo: he deals huge amounts of damage but has literally 0 mobility and a regular sized hitbox. Compared to some of the other legends. That aside, playing Fuse requires more gamesense and map knowledge. Playing him basically teaches you the value of early rotations and good positioning, because if you get caught out, you die. There's like no 2-ways about it. Other characters have an easier time resetting.
I never used fuse until this season. I’ve been using fuse for ranked arenas this season and it’s been clutch. Helps add pressure on the other team and really helpful when they are one shot around a corner
Fuse is the ultimate arenas king, in later round you can buy 6 thermites, all his clusters and his ultimate. It's seriously impossible to survive that especially if the enemy team groups up.

The intro is 100% correct, most people who play movement legends are the real brain dead players of this game because they use their abilities to crutch for bad decision making and positioning. Fuse doesn't have that luxury and in this game you can make the best decisions and still get rolled up be three idiots W keying in with octane, horizon, path etc even your ult people will just run through sometimes if they really want to chase. This doesn't mean all people who play movement legends are brain dead, but I do think most people play them to crutch for bad plays. The thing is Fuse is supposed to "deny" people not really DMG them, but it's useless if you can just octane stim through the door Fuse just clustered, it buys you no time. This game is all about time, that's why movement legends are kind of OP, because you can simply grapple onto a roof that others can't climb onto buying you an extra 30 seconds, Fuse has no guaranteed way to buy time because in all cases if the enemy is thirsty enough they'll just go straight through your abilities.

I went from playing daily to not even wanting to play because I either get curb stomped in pubs or sweat my ass off in ranked. There's no in-between anymore.
All the obscene ways you died (no footstep audio, invisible people dropping you from Narnia, starting a fight with one squad and suddenly 18 people are fighting only you) is just the Apex experience for me. It takes HOURS to even claim a knock, or even finish a get 5kills or assists challenge. In all honesty, finding and catching a shiny Pokemon is easier than getting a fair Apex lobby. If you don't know it's a 1/11000 chance to get a shiny in pokemon 😂
This makes me feel slightly less useless, now that I see you also sometimes lose a game with randoms, I always play with randoms, Or I play in a squad with PC players and I am on console, which is slightly challenging
