I was lucky to not get hit by it. We were on the very edge of the storm all i got was bad thunderstorms. Scary but prayers for everyone.
Lunamoon 7688_aj Same i have pieces of some houses in my yard but not to much it didn’t hit my house
EXCELLENT reporting at 1:24:49. He's such a great communicator - so eloquent and so natural. I love that he's down to earth and, at the same time, so elegant. Très manifique!!! THANK YOU, Brian!
Bryan is great. He's "good people".
Prayers from Texas!!!
Very interesting.. I'm in San Diego and I've never experienced anything like that..thanks for posting
Tornados are rare but can happen in California, but you have worst things to worry about than a twister
@@weaboochanweaboochan As someone who lives in Kansas, and was very close to this very tornado. I'll take an earthquake over a tornado any day of the week. These things can flatten entire towns in less than 30 minutes.
People may say preppers are crazy. They are not. Crummy times are a'coming. So sad. It's over 100 here daily and should be 80. GSM is no joke.
Hope no loss of life occurred.
@The Truth That You Cannot Handle I prep for mobility. There are many ways to prep.
Have you never heard of a bug-out property? Only a darn fool would stock-pile like McDuck.
No one died. Passed by my town, thank God.
I was only like probably 1 hour south of the tornado emergency.
Sending prayers
I was about to comment that praying (people should actually help each other, not pray), but you look too cute to scold at.
@@petopetteri178 oh lol well thank you

Sending Prayers from india 🇮🇳🇮🇳
How the hell could you leave your house pets there? If I was leaving because of a tornado, you best believe I’d be bringing all my pets with
Why are we not hearing about this on mainstream media??? It's all trump trump.trump. this is a big deal for there to be this many tornados in this amount of time.
Because tornadoes happen every year. It hit rural parts of towns mostly. I live here, it's not exactly national news worthy. It's nothing compared to Joplin 2011 or Moore 2013. Calm down.
This is so sad 😭
Raven Hatfield you are a complete idiot
@Raven Hatfield Awful!
@Raven Hatfield I wasn't agreeing with you! I said it was awful you are saying that. Dear Jesus! I would never wish harm in that or death.
@Raven Hatfield Well uhh, I hate to break it to you, but this tornado hit my small town in Kansas, not Missouri, You need to take a geography lesson and shut the fuck up forever.
I'm right in the path of one I'm in Michigan hopefully the lake slows it down
Benjamin Grinnewald hopefully. Do you happen to know if Lake Michigan is above average temperature-wise for this time of year? Generally the Great Lakes are fairly stable, and cause tornadic storms to putter out.....but not always. If the water is on the warmer side, it can do the opposite and give it strength. That’s why we have more tornadoes in late summer here in the Great Lakes, because the lakes are warmest at that time of year. I’m on the shores of Lake Erie in WNY. Stay safe!
My thoughts and prayers with you people.
Prayers 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks KMBC9
I’m in awe with the tremendous power of nature that has been unleashed these past few weeks around here. And yet no serious injuries or casualties... 11 no threatening injures...
I’m in KS, it was absolutely amazing the amount of power those thunderstorms had. It kept coming and coming, all day, afternoon and night long...
But, for what I have heard, no serious injuries, just a lot of structural destructions. It’s a miracle that so many people were safe after having their homes basically blown away from the foundation and they didn’t get a scratch on themselves and their pets!!!
Amazing how this little boy and his dad were in the basement of their home. They had a mattress on top of themselves and in an instant, the Tornado hit their home and when was all over, their entire house was gone!
The only protection from the force of nature, thunderstorms, hail, winds of the Tornado was a mattress on top of them! They had more than just a mattress to protect them... a miracle that only 11 no threatening injures and no casualties!!! Thank God for the protection these people received.
Material things are replaceable.
May the Lord keep protecting his children around this world with what is to come... prayers to keep them safe and many more for gratitude 🙏
Never forget we are not alone and forgotten in this mortal existence... we have daily help and protection from above. Stay safe and be grateful for what you have been blessed with!
I'm not sure if i wanna move to Kansas anymore.
From the comments I see it should be concerned of some of them.Sorry for those that were hit. God Bless them.
These houses 🏡 go up like paper the way there built today
links felix 200 mph winds or higher. No house stands up to that. Never have and never will. The only way to survive these monsters is underground
99.9 percent are made of wood

😢so sad, prayer for all the family
OMG ahhhhh tornado 🌪 in new yourk
I live in Independence,MO. And it barely missed us
i'm an Independence native, and we never saw much severe weather in my 11 years (1966-1977.) My family moved to Lincoln, NE; and again, it was fairly quiet in comparison. I currently live in S. Arizona where people get excited over landspout tornadoes. Save for the tornado I saw outside Guthrie Center, IA, in '83, I've actually seen more tornadic activity down here than I ever did in my 30 years on the plains. KC had some major tornado damage in '03, and Lincoln was hit by an EF-2 tornado last year.
I live in basehor and lived here when that thing came through linwood. It was so scary because I knew it was only a couple miles away from me.
Did the tornado stop and chew the buildings and then swallow them before moving on?
No, it carried the debris to nearby towns and dropped pieces of it there.
We haven't had rain in weeks
Lucky! !!!!!!!!!!!!!😳😳😈😈😈😠😠😠😠😡😡😡😵😱
No it's not at this time it's been a month and a half and I got sun poisoning because of no rain so right now I'm a plowboy waiting on the rain
The end is near
Any news about Kansas City.... Trying to get in touch with relatives????

There is like a tornado warning
This is so sad .....gosh you tornados never leave.
@Raven Hatfield wow one day you will stop calling them the W T word 👊👊
Why don't your news and weather show real time weather...or at least time/date it...thx
Why is the coloring so blue? It's like it's a blue film in front of the lens.
Very sad
1:02:21 holy Shit that is big
the building code needs to change. the houses needs to be build with three materials, lumber, brick and steel. Just like the three little pigs, one should take a leaf out of the smart pigs book.
They are. Houses are built with concrete, lumber, and steel, have you ever been inside a modern home? They've been built that way since at least 1990.
Pablo!
How has only 1 person died from this? It looks serious.
No one died from this Tornado. 15-20 injured none dead.
@@callofdutyblackops9 Good.
Take cover
Oh my god !
Wow!! TOTAL DESTRUCTION...
By The Numbers lots of people from Kansas City commenting on Twitter that this was the biggest tornado they have ever seen.

Did someone get carried of to Oz 😂😂😂
I was just wondering something. Does anybody remember years and years ago when News casters, journalist and all those on TV could speak? Meds or dope? what's with all the stuttering all over themselves and acting like fools? do these people even have to go to school anymore for any of this stuff? At least an English class or two? I imagine they do the same thing like they do with trophies.. Pass them out to everybody so they won't be considered a sexist, racist or homophobic. And then some more.
It's a live emergency broadcast, there's literally zero prep for these kinds of broadcasts and they have to find ways to keep the story going and keep an order to things on air. It's incredibly difficult and something I guarantee you couldn't do. What the fuck is up with all the salt in this comment section? So many shitty people (such as yourself) in this comment section. brighten the fuck up, people.
So many in harm's way... "Dominion is God's, the Lord of the seen and the unseen, the Lord of creation." "Is there any Remover of difficulties save God? Say: Praised be God! He is God! All are His servants, and all abide by His bidding!" ~ Baha'i Prayer
