Egyptian goose and swans

About Egyptian Goose (Alopochen aegyptiaca) -
The Egyptian goose is an African member of the duck family Anatidae. Due to their popularity as an ornamental bird, the species has also been introduced to Europe, United States and to other countries. They are now widespread in Southern England, UK.
They have pink legs, a pink bill, black tails, and brown eye patches encircling each eye. The voices of the males and females differ; the male having a hoarse, subdued duck-like quack. Males make a raspy hiss, and females produce a cackling sound.
*Egyptian geese were regularly representated in ancient Egyptian art. It was considered sacred by the ancient Egyptians, who believed that the geese were messengers between earth and heaven.
The goose is one of the most intelligent birds. It has a good memory and does not forget people, animals or situations. Spending a lot of time with wild geese, I can confirm that.
The Egyptian goose is intelligent enough to trick predators into avoiding its chicks...
Feeding:-
Egyptian geese are primarily herbivores, feeding on grass, seeds, stems and leaves, as well as grains, potatoes, other vegetables. They eat small amounts of mixed corn, floating duck pellets or uncooked porridge oats as extras in their diet. Also lentils, brown rice, small seeds, and split peas are some of the foods geese enjoy.
