Chris, Great video! I'll never forget when I saw the first killer clown ever produced, it was on TSK's table. It is still one of my all time favorite clown combos. Keep up the great work. Brian
I totally understand now when I've watched these videos for couple of weeks that why you guys want to breed. There are too many nice combos with ball python and just buying them is too expensive for normal people. So why not breed, sell something, keep something and build up some nice morphs to yourself and for sale :D
The supers sure a killer compared to just the pastels, amazing just how much more vibrant they are and gorgeous patterns. Mixing it with others does great things. A good one to have for sure for breeding.
I have a Super Pastel Orange Dream male. He's pretty cool looking and I also have a Female Pastel Orange Dream Mota that's super bright yellow. I think the Mota really cleans it up and helps make her really bright.
Chris as a begginer I must admit that your videos help me a lot, however it's almost impossible to decide which direction to take into the hobby. There is way too many cool morphs and combos. Every time I go on world of BP, morph market or watch one of your videos I'm more and more confused :D
Hi Chris! I'm still researching everything I need to know about the hobby before really owning a ball python. I have my mind set on having a super pastel super OD fire. Well that's what I think I want with the info that I got with the effects of those genes to the animal. What marks should I look from the animal to know if it has the genes that I wanted. I get how you tell a super pastel from this video. Thank you!
Question: So if I breed my super pastel 100% het clown to a clown what would I get? On world of ball pythons it doesn’t recognize it as a super pastel just pastel
@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures I'm finding gravels cheeper and identified as gravel the asphalt they seem to be unprooven listed as asphalt/ YB . I am planning on only four snakes one male and three fm so it's important that I get a asphalt not just a YB . The gravel listed just gravel or with some other gene seems more definite. I am not seeing any difference between what is listed as highway and freeway they seem to look the same. I have time I just got my little ivory FM to eat for the second time on rat pinky just now . She is so awesome super friendly doesn't ball up at all .
Im a bit confused... If you mix a super pastel x ghi would you get ghi pastel or super pastel ghi. I thought in order to get super pastel ghi, you have to have a pastel ghi x with pastel. on another note, do you know anything about the EMG gene from NERD? someone just offered me a enchi EMG het clown for my clown project. Her dad is a EMG Clown thats absolutely stunning. And the EMG clowns on nerds MM are all over $2500. Besides making the head stamp a bit more abstract I cant tell any other difference with the EMG gene in it. I though EMG just stood for evil morph god and it does but its an actual gene according to the person trying to sell it to me.
PunkRawkah Ball Pythons. I am not sure if that will answer your question but when Chris says you Mix this gene with thiat one he is not describing the parents, he is only talking about a snake with those genes. And if you cross a killer with any snake not carrying pastel you cannot get a killer in the offspring. Any parent only passes on one version - allele- of each gene or morph.
I never heard of EMG. With new genes I like to see them mixed with some of the standard ball python genes to see what the potential is before investing. I have a 'Jungle Woma Spider' but the Jungle Woma is so subtle it's hard to know if its in there and even mixed with other genes it's just not obvious, probably why a lot of people don't work with it. I usually don't by into a project unless I can see some pretty amazing results with a lot of other genes. I actually stated that wrong in the video, you can't breed them together, I meant to say GHI with Super Pastel in the same snake, not breeding them together.
Hey! I am thinking about trying to get a ball python when I get enough money, what would I need like shelter wise and it’s needs? Also all of the cages I’m seeing are well over like $100, is there any cages that would be good for a single python and less that’s $100
Super pastel is a smart gene to invest in
This was so educational. Really helped me better understand some of the base morphs.
Fan Club: Bobby is the only super snake we need no matter what this traitor says.
Super black head is amazing also great video
Chris,
Great video!

Wow super pastel is way more impressive than pastel. Loove what it does in combos.
Really enjoyed this video nice work chris
So cool what the super pastel does!!!! I'm sure glad I got into the Acid\confusion early!!!;)

Super pastel puzzle is awesome!
Video idea : Chris reviews enclosures or breeding set up & the actual snake would be cool to see people’s pet & breeding set ups !
great video
Awesome country!
Can you breed 2 super pastels together?
Super Duper Pastel?
I have a Super Pastel Orange Dream male. He's pretty cool looking and I also have a Female Pastel Orange Dream Mota that's super bright yellow. I think the Mota really cleans it up and helps make her really bright.
Wow that’s awesome!
Can't wait to breed my pastels and add that phantom to it

My leopard pastel is beautiful. I was holding her when I started watching this video. She will be ready to breed this year and can’t wait.
Yototo
YES!
Make more baby videos on your collection, what you are breeding and how the offspring turn out!
That usually starts mid to late summer.

Super OD may be pretty expensive based on if it's an intense line or not.
Chris Hardwick
Yes it is. Do you have any pointer for me on what to look for to be sure that it’s there? Thank you!

All would be Pastel, half het clowns half visual clowns
There's a freaking super pastel female at my pet store. 1year old I'm sleeping on this morph ..
. Are gravel and asphalt basically just different lines like bananna and coral glow? Would the babys come out different if mated to the same mate.
I think they are quite a bit different.

Did you ever buy the axanthic ball python you said you were gonna?
Not yet!
I have male and female pastel one male phantom. A female lesser. And just got a male bumblebee

Kevin at Nerd says you can breed spider to spider and he started them and named them lol.
I'd love to see a Super Spider, wonder if it's a white snake?
I think he said they just look like a spider but it's been a while since I watched the video lol.
Not first but still here
I have a Super Pastel Ghost male I can’t wait to grow up. Also want to add Desert Ghost too!

Just get a 10 gallon tank for a baby ball.
Super orange dream is my favorite super
That's a good one, still pretty expensive though.
I just bred my super pastel female to my male enchi pastel yellowbelly
Ok, how would I get killer clowns
Breed two pastel clowns together.
Oh and they locked and are still currently so.
My male pastel looks so much like that super
