- Memories from a short trip I did to Tokyo and Kamakura last week.
I went to Tokyo for my recent vacation. Carrying heavy camera equipment was an unforgettable experience. I was almost exhausted on the road, and the play's mood was not the best, but the final result was satisfactory.
I am testing the LAOWA S35 Nanomorph 1.5X Anamorphic Zoom Series. It is not particularly suitable for the Paco PL-RF adapter ring because the back of the lens is a little longer, and it may hit the Built-In filter. It's barely usable, but it's too extreme. It may scratch your filter.
The lens's optical quality is excellent, and there is almost no noticeable distortion. Therefore, there is no need to overthink the situation on both sides of the composition.
It is recommended that such a lens not be brought for travel. Next time, I may choose a fixed-focus lens series...

Hey bro, great visuals btw! And what part of your equipment was heavy? is it the camera setup? Would you recommend doing a family trip with the RED komodo and this lens?
It must be said that traveling with two anamorphic zoom lenses and the Komodo like that is such a pain in the ass. Also, I need to use a phone as the monitor for focus, which is also Inefficient. If u wanna have a happy trip and shoot some great footage, I would say a Canon RF 24-105 f2.8 will be better than this set. Or some lighter anamorphic lenses. Otherwise, your family needs a lot of patience every time u wanna shoot something.
