All I can say is, WOW. I photograph drums for a living. Yes, drums. Shooting a drum with a chrome rim is nearly IMPOSSIBLE, and I spend most of my time editing out reflections. This is a GENIUS idea, and now I want one big enough to fit a marching snare into... Such an amazing idea!
Thank you! That would be a great challenge, trying to figure out how to fit a drum into one of these. I’m still trying to find a photographic company interested in taking on this idea. It may take time but I won’t quit ha.
Thank you! Fingers crossed I can find a company to work with and professionally manufacture this idea to get it into your hands and everyone that wants to try it out, ha.
That's ingenius! The Substance Designer people would probably love one of these to use for reference images, you could show off how a 3D shaders real life counterpart should look
Thanks!! That’s would be awesome. I’ve tried making this in Blender but it’s been coming out with a bit of a different result. I’m still new to 3D But I’m sure it can be figured out, ha.
Great idea, let us know when you have a manufacturer lined up. There are other light tents or light cones out there to do similar things, however yours may have more flexibility in positioning camera angles and seems to eliminate lens reflection. Great invention, however the final version may need to be cost and size efficient compared to other ideas other there. Your idea does have a lot of pro features and great value.
amazing... so smart. you should patent it. I hope you can find someone to help you boost and develop it even more, without a doubt it is a great solution...!!!
Thank you! Patenting was the first thing I did fortunately. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a company to work with and get this into the hands of anyone wanting this.
Dude, well done. I remember shooting my cousin's Dalcini stainless steel containers, having a really "fun" time with the reflections. Great work, hope everything works out as you intended.
Erik: *Congratulation on your issued patent!* Most photographers would NOT have realized that a novel photo-type invention could be protected with a patent - great foresight! Are you pursuing patent protection in other countries: Canada, Australia/NZ, UK, EU, China, Japan, etc.? Can you comment on how much you spend to secure your Entero patent: USPTO fees + attorney fees + technical drawing fees? Your updated title: Commercial Photographer & *INVENTOR!*
Thanks erik showing such idea which is as easy as to click in LCD tent box by godax but that is not enough to remove reflection of light. Keep it up Bro 😮❤ Dr Anand Baranawal VNS INDIA
Yeah, bravo. This is very well thought out. unfortunately doesn't help me at the moment trying to photograph a high gloss black artwork which is over 1m x 1m. I do occasionally photograph smaller items and something like this would be perfect though.
I’m also from Baltimore and currently live in Dundalk and I sell Funko Pops. It’s been frustrating trying to take good pictures of the boxes without seeing me, my hand or my phone in the picture
Was trying to better word my post but accidentally deleted my previous comment. But yea, If you search two way mirror dome you’ll find a site. The rest was made from hardware stores.
Well done Erik, very interesting concept. I work every day with jewelry and when it comes to silver, it is always quite annoying and I have to edit out the camera reflection. Hope this will be adopted and produced!
Hello sir, I'm selling scissors ✂️ and they are very shiny ever I make picture it's dont come clear pixel, and I see reflect in it. I'm using I'm mobile s23 ultra. Please advise how to solve it.
Dude, this is awesome! If you don't mind asking what is the rational behind the two lights below? Also, how this setup impact the color of the object when the color is not silver?
Thank you! So far I haven’t had any problems with color fortunately. It’s key to keep the room as dark as possible so lights are enclose in a black box table to avoid light spilling out.
Hey! dude that’s a really fantastic idea , what you did is sooooo creative ,but what i really care about is how you solve the problems about the effect of the plastic shell to the quality of the image .
Yea the material needs improvement for sure. Still trying to find better material or ways to lessen distortion. Just another step out of many steps ha.
This is a brilliant idea. I shoot a lot of small, reflective products and run into all of the problems you'd be familiar with. Do you have any problems with distortion fro shooting through the dome?
Thank you! I haven’t run into any problems of distortion fortunately. The only thing is, if there is a scratch/dust on the dome and it’s in the direction you are shooting at, the scratch/dust will be in the shot. Hopefully I can find someone to professionally manufacture this and get it in the hands of everyone!
Could you explain how to shoot when you open the double mirror at that moment and the second camera from another angle doesn't see you put a camera inside of the double mirror? Very good picture! Want more basic tips for beginners tutpirals on photography😜
Thank you! I’m sure there are ways the Entero can be used that I don’t even know about yet. I’m really hopping I can find a company to manufacture this, get it out in the market and into the hands of everyone that wants this.
I want to do a comparison with his and mine. From what I’ve seen it looks like the cone only has one entry point and that entry point is reflected in the object. With mine the whole dome is an entry point and you can move around to view the object. This will be a fun test for sure ha
Ok so to photograph reflective objects I need to build this fucking reflective ball? Change the title of your video to "how to build a fucking reflective ball or buy my product"

@@erikespinosa9708 did you find any? I’m interested in buying one please
Erick is great to revolutionize product photography.
Thank you very much! :)
Smart erik! First patent! Then a full explanation vid! Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to your next uploads
Thank you so much! Definitely working on the next one, ha.
Very impressive pictures! Nice idea with the dome and light!
Thank you very much!
great idea! i wonder if half a dome would do the job too?
Boulevard Photography had a setup with a large light canopy/room to stop reflection in the 60s.
That sounds so cool!
Brilliant!!! I had such a hard time photographing terrariums!! I bet this would work perfectly!
Truly, this is brilliant
ERIK!!! This is amazing! Beautiful results -Can’t wait to see where this goes!
Thank you! I’m excited to see where this goes too!
@@erikespinosa9708 how can I get this stuff ?
Absolutely genius!
Thank you!
Literally blew my mind! Well done!!
Wow..... I LOVE THIS

That's really cool, man! Amazing idea
Thank you!
Incredible!!! Also, props for the jazz background tune :)
MUY BIEN, AMIGO! Como cinefotógrafo y mago de escenario, mis respetos por la idea.

Thank you me too!
This is so awesome!
Maestro, es un muy buen artefacto te felicito por tu ingenio!!!
How far is your project now? where can one buy this dome?
Still trying to find a company to pick up this idea. Definitely not as easy as I thought it would be ha
@@erikespinosa9708 Indonesia company would love this idea. Try contact Doss in Jakarta or Bali. They famous in photography
Hi, really love this. Is this available for sale?
Thank you! It is not. I’m still trying on the search to find someone who might pick this idea up. Not as easy as I thought it’d be, ha.
would it work with clear glass? or i guess just on glass in general? and water?? i'm very curious now
so two way mirror dome works with constant video light... not using a photo strobe?
This would have saved so so much time back when I was doing product photography!
Cool, thank you for the setup Erik. I'll try this setup at my house soon 😁
Go for it! I would love to see what results other people can get from this idea!
Great idea.
Por qué no pones el acrílico para qye salga desde abajo
I love it! Now I need one to fit pianos in, that’s what I photograph! 🤷🏼♂️😅

Great thing! How do you manage to mirror it with half opacity ? is it acrylic glass? Did not know it can be coated like chrome…
Great invention…
Thank you! It is acrylic and I find using strobe moonlights give the best quality using the two way mirror.
@@erikespinosa9708 so it's just the ONE mirror dome or you'e added two together? 🧐
You are a genious. 👍👍👍👍
This is brilliant! The device can save hours of retouching.
Muchas gracias por compartir este magnifico setup. Por favor dime donde has hecho/comprado el espejo y como se llama. Lo necesito en mi vida jaja :D

This is such a good idea. Would love to see this.
You can try looking into social media and find those groups and share you new toy =D
hola, donde as comprado la media esfera?
It's a great innovation. Is it possible to camouflage the camera instead?
Idea geniale, ma la cupola l’hai comprata cosi e poi hai costruito il resto? Mi piacerebbe anche a me creare qualcosa del genere.

this is AMAZING Eric! Genius! Where can we sign up to get an update, when you'r invention is avaible for sale? :-)
Thanks!! I’ll probably make a video update when that time comes.
It definitely does the job well but one big issue here is the cost. A large two way mirror would usually be very pricey $300-$1500 range?
does it work with glass?
very goooood
