Khalilullah means beloved of Allah SWT. This is the title given to the Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Ibrahim, as one of the great prophets in the Islamic religious belief.
Apart from that, Prophet Ibrahim AS is a highly respected prophet and is considered a hero of the faith. So it is not surprising that Prophet Ibrahim AS is the only prophet apart from Prophet Muhammad SAW, whose name is mentioned in prayer.
Prophet Muhammad SAW is called the lover of Allah. This title was given because of his commendable morals and honesty, which he has been known for since childhood. The Prophet Muhammad SAW had many miracles, one of which was the Isra' Mi'raj event. This event is the journey of the Prophet Muhammad SAW from Mecca to the Aqsa Mosque and up to the arsy. Some of the noble qualities of the Prophet Muhammad SAW are: Siddiq (True), Amanah (Trusted), Tabligh (Convey), Fathonah (Wise). Prophet Muhammad SAW is also the only prophet who can intercede for his people before Allah SWT.
Khalilullah means very deep etymologically and terminologically. Etymologically, the word "Khalilullah" comes from Arabic which consists of two main components, namely " Khalil" which means "beloved" or "friend," and "Allah," which refers to God in Islam. So, literally, "Khalilullah" means "Beloved of Allah" or is often also called "Beloved of Allah."
