Amazing Video, I just bought my first ever theme and it wasn't cheap, but It was version 1.0, the one advertised was version 2.0 and I couldn't update it because from what I can see, they have only got version 1.0 available for DownLoad. I followed your instructions and It still did not show me an available Update. Did I just get scammed? I mean the version 1.0 doesn't work at all. 8 out of 10 of the recommended plug-ins will cause fatal errors. What Am I suppose to do? is this even Normal.. because if it is, I think I should probably give up on making my first website.

I followed the directions to install the Envato Market plugin. I set up (and verified) a single use token for my site's active theme - 15zine 3.0.2. A version 3.2.2 is available but the Envato plugin doesn't provide an "update" button, just an "install" button. Any idea why this would happen? Thx.
How do you update though? I got the plugin installed, the key, etc but when I hit install it gives an error that the destination folder already exists.. Is there a procedure to rename it first? I did check and I do indeed have the older version. I am updating an existing theme RT-18. Thank you for any help!

I purchased a plug in through them for the Visual Composer. However I have tried several different ways of linking the Mega Menu with Visual Composer. I'm trying not to just link the page in Apperance because you can't use the Mega Menu in Apperance for the horizontal drop down that one is only vertical with subdomains. You lose the amount of elements in the row. How do I create a Menu in Mega Menu drop down Top Bar Header without using it in the theme options or Apperance. I have tried also in Pages. I noticed you can not use both. When I contacted the theme developers that have it built into the theme they tell me to deactivate the Wp Bakery Plug-In that they conflict with another so I have no idea how to add a Logo without losing my Mega Menu. When I go into Visual Composer and enable it I'm stuck linking it from Categories.

I done all you did in the video but my plugin which is already installed before this Envato Market plugin now shows up in the Envato Market plugin and has the option install but not update. I check on the plugin and it´s not up to date. But in the market the plugin shows the new version but I have to install this. Do I´ve to delete my old plugin and reinstall it, if so is there anyway to save the settings from that plugin? The plugin im trying to update is Wordpress GDPR by welaunch.

I have a betheme that i need to update, but i've also got to deregister/switch to a new puchase key (we lost track of what our envato themeforest user id was), and i'm trying to figure out if that different user & purchase key will be a complication.

That's great, thank you so much for this. There seems to be an issue when the theme is updated. All theme style changes seems to disappear. It goes back to the original theme colours. Any ideas?
As a developer, I'm guessing your theme stored some of the settings in the theme folder and therefore those settings were wiped when the theme was updated.
Do I even need to purchase a theme though because Visual Composer is all custom built anyhow, and most theme's just add it to them. I already purchased it by itself through WP Bakery. I don't know how to create a menu using Visual Composer any suggestions on it's own? I am currently creating one in the pages section, I created individual rows in the row settings to break up the individual rows to be linked to create a top bar and header section for the language translation as well as currency converter since they are added through a plug in I uploaded to file manager in the public html. I also uploaded the plug in the widget section in apperance added it to the sidebar but it only shows there so not sure how any header and footer sections seperate from the individual page using a mega menu.
Yes you do need a theme. Themes add a lot more than just visual composer. A theme controls everything that is not considered the page content, the header and menu and logo areas, the footer in the footer widget areas. Also gives you control over global sales on your website. So you absolutely need a theme.
I have purchased Responsive themes compatible for Desktop,Mobile and Tablet however the menu is my only concern and I find most themeswill only allow you to pull from theme options settings set to header which grabs from apperance and I lose my horizontal menu. Apperance only has a vertical drop down. I find in Visual Composer it only supports 5 elements. I need to built a website similar to this as this www.urbandecay.ca/, www.revolveclothing.com, I used the Petal theme and I could not get it to function properly. I could create horizontal menu's in the mega menu but I'm not sure how to create a menu without using the Apperance to pull from.

Same happened to me. This plugin is outdated and doesn't work. I can't believe an empire like Envato does not take care of this. It decreases the value of its marketplace. For example I have Divi bought and I will consider using this theme rather than any other Themeforest theme because of this (among other reasons).

Since I'm quite new to the whole WordPress thing, I found your video to find out how I could update it. The same problems "lies jep" below. Downloading the Envato Market (toolkit) file only contains php files and folders. When I try to drop the file in the Word Press drop zone for uploading new plug-in files it stalls at this point. Has the process changed or am I missing something?

With most themes they require you to copy a shortcode into header PHP or the you drag and drop the widget into the sidebar menu. That just goes there not to the Header the Footer is done the same way, so I don't see how the theme helps with that at all.
but di not forget to go to your account and download the new version of the theme beacause you wil need to upload the new version of some plugins other way it will crash

At some point was the folder name of the theme changed?
Well, I switched from Enfold to Beaver Builder. So the active theme has changed. What do you think?
I would suggest deleting any themes that you are not using so that you won't get this notice.

Wow that's quite a question! Going to have to defer to the developers of each of those plug-ins, because I don't use either of them.

Yes that is the way theme Forest works.

Try this: Go to Apperance > Themes and then there is an update button on the themes that have updates.
