You are awesome with voice overs. I didn't realize you just started UA-cam this year. You do a great job. I am senior citizen now, I collected when I was young, I sure would have loved to have learned from all that you teach, back in my days. I am now learning what some of my things are and how they were made. Thank you. I watch your UA-cam friends on their channels too. I enjoy all of you. Something always fun to watch!
We actually own Captain Fantastic and its partner machine with Tommy (Roger Daltrey) on the back glass. We also own a baseball machine. When we were young we had a huge finished basement and my dad would buy a bunch of machines and fix them then resell them for profit. At one time we had 20 or more down there all working. Our family was the best one in the entire neighborhood because we had such a fun basement. Christmas was insane because he would sell a ton of machines. Then we started all over. We kept those 2 machines and an older baseball. My parents still have them at the house they built and they work. We and others still play sometimes (we were good too). It was awesome to see one of them here. Huge place!!!
OMG, Micheal! I was in the other room brushing my teeth when you switched back to voiceover, and it SCARED ME TO DEATH! The volume difference was REAL! That low voice behind me! Other than that, very enjoyable video!
Wow! This place was AMAZING, I can certainly see why you spent 4 hours there, & that probably wasn't even long enough. So many wonderful treasures to see, thank you for taking your time & really showing us everything. Loved the Barbie case, I had a similar one as well. xo
I don’t care about the number of videos it takes. I will watch every one of them. Possible more than once . I always miss something the first or even second time viewing videos. I will hang out with you anytime/anyplace.from Texas
Love love love this shop, oh my laws its awesome.!!! 4 hours was not long enough!!! All the vintage Christmas, yes please. Love the elfs💚 glad you got them. Great video, thank you
Arggg!!! I did not want this to end!! Can't get over how fantastic this place is. I'm anxiously waiting for the next video! Have an adult beverage Michael and calm those nerves.🤩
Oh, Michael you are so much fun ! Marie Antoinette, is that you girl ? Lol ! Oh my, what an amazing place ! Is there no end to it ? I can't wait to see what's next !
Yes there is a rosbro Santa with real fur. I have one and if you find one with the fur intact, they are rare. Also, I loved the Rolling Green Park picture. I grew up visiting that park at least once per summer and then there were live rock bands at the dance hall every Saturday night during my teen years. Good memories.
Another great mall Michael, amazing items at every turn. I worked a switch board like that back in the early 70s. Its a shamrock and a clump is worn on your lepal in Ireland on St Patrick 's day. I love the excitement in your voice when you spot a new treasure. Have a great week with lots of good finds.
Omg those chalkware tulip lamps were the worst. The shades on them gave me a full body shiver . The Barbie carrying case looked way to good to me to be actual vintage mid century. They did do re-pops on these.
I misheard one of your comments. Now I'm imagining what an "ABBA & Costello" mash up would sound like. (Wow - did you know Elvis Costello is still alive??) I love vicariously shopping with you.
Kanawha is pronounced by native Kanawha County residents as ku- NAW. Others in the surrounding areas pronounce it Ku- NAW -a. People from out of state pronounce it incorrectly as CAN -a -wha. I was raised in Kanawha County in West Virginia where the glass is made. Kanawha is a Shawnee word for new river. The Indian tribes there considered what is now The New River (fayette county & others) and The Kanawha River, as the same river. The Kanawha river runs through Kanawha county. Lots of glass factories settled in WV because natural gas was in abundance and cheaper there to fuel their furnaces for melting glass. Some of the companies are... Blenko, Dunbar Glass, Fenton, Kanawha Glass and others. If you ever want me to send you a voice message of pronunciation, let me know 😆. Love your videos and vintage rescue squad. You guys are so fun!! I absolutely love learning by the shop with me videos. you guys are so knowledgeable!! Thank you for making videos!!
My Sister in law makes wreaths but there modern. I wish she could make some vintage ones. I would love to be crafty it I need step by step instructions.😂
You have probably made 2 and 3 videos. What a good site. Do you know any of the vendors? It would be great to hear from s vendor once in the while on how they chose their profession.
