After double Finale I thought combat damage was going to be the finisher.
Same.
Who didn't think that xD
Still winning with Thoracle seems a bit mean.
And this is why Dargo gets to be in the video title and Kinnan doesn't
Ryan, if I may, could you possibly change your wording regarding the legend rule? The creature technically isn't sacrificed, it is just put into the graveyard as a state based action. I have seen too many people think that the legend rule causes you to sacrifice, which triggers some cards' abilities, when it does not do that, only dies. Great work you all do though!
🤓
@@olivecrossing8119 it’s magic the gathering. Being nerdy is like, half the fun.
Idk man, sounds like a skill issue
Especially when Dargo is the commander and cares about sacrifices…

Peter's sleeves are indeed really cool!
where does the opposition agent in peter hand went? like he could have maybe not won but at least not lose right away last turn?
Peter didn't really do anything lol
Man that ragavan putting in WORK
As a Kinnan player I always love a good Kinnan game
I'm devastated that double finales didnt swing for lethal 😢
After Double Finale it's rather anticlimactic that the game ends on a Thoracle win.
Shaun doing god's work this game.
Nice game. Love that deck as it seems like its alot of fun to pilot.
How did wandering archaic copy dispel while archaic was still on the stack?
i thout phantasmal image gets sacrifiec when its targeten by an abili, soul bound doesnt count?
Why not just swing with finale?
Alex is so cooooll maaaaan
Both the decks i play, i love it
What is the corridor monitor in Cal's deck for?
Kiki combos
It’s very common to have a mana dork in the temur pirates deck to consistently cast malcolm turn 2 (if not 1).
With birthing pod, u can pod that said dork to corridor monitor untap birthing pod and use it on tana to get kikijiki and win with infinite corridors.
where did peter get those phyrexian card sleeves?
Is Cal really going to be ready for being roasted in the comments?
I’m late seeing this video but wouldn’t Phantasmal Image be Sacrificed when it is targeted with soulbond? Clearly he could have won with his +20/+20 creatures but
I'm losing my mind over Llawan 🤔
I have absolutely no evidence that supports this, but I reckon Llawan should be pronounced with the Welsh 'Ll'
I will never not pronounce it the King of the Hill character, Luanne.
Perhaps people needs to sacrifice a weeny bit of consistency in terms of mana for land destruction spells to punish people who plays Pact spells but that's just my personal opinion.
You reap what you sow. You want to indulge in free spells with crazy drawbacks, then you must pay the price of losing to it.
My heart goes out to Peter, felt like he got hard targeted. :(
the k'rrik life is a hard life. haha
Have you seen how many t1-t2 wins this guy had? Lol. K'rrik go brrrrrr
@@TunedToDoom Yeah…. My pod calls playing my Krrik deck “playing ShuffleBoard” bc all we do is shuffle up.
Doesn’t the image get sacrificed because it gets targeted for soul bound?
Soulbond doesn't target
Soulbond says "This creature....".
So it doens't target.
WHERE DID PETER GET THOSE SLEEVES
Maybe they're DragonShield customs, with an image he provided.
Scourge alters
What the fuck was peter doing?
His best
Why is Kinnan always on playing with power but never wins tourneys?
There’s 100s of tournaments each month in America but you only hear about the online tournaments hosted by UA-camrs
It’s also came in the Top 4 of quite a few big CEDH tourneys in the last few months.
The way the win was narrated doesn't seem to be right. Deadeye navigator is no longer soulbound to phantasmal image when phantasmal image leaves the battlefield and enters again. For the infinite treasures part, Alex would have needed the opponents' boards to have more than 2 artifacts and enchantments (I only see a sol ring and spellskite on Cal's board), for a total of at least 4 mana with Kinnan to keep the loop infinite, and ordered the deadeye navigator to be blinked after phantasmal image blinks on the stack together as deadeye navigator loses the blink effect when it is no longer soul bound. (So, activating deadeye navigator then holding priority to activate phantasmal image/dockside extortionist's blink effect granted by deadeye navigator)
Funnily enough, with double finale of devastation at X = 10, Alex presented lethal via combat damage.
EDIT: forgot Dockside includes enchantments too
You don’t need to blink Deadeye Navigator.
From Gatherer:
“If you activate the ability granted by Deadeye Navigator, the creature will be exiled, the pair will immediately be broken, and then the card will be returned to the battlefield. Deadeye Navigator's soulbond ability triggers when that card enters the battlefield and the pair can then be reunited.”
@@masonwhitehead7203 ahh gotcha, thanks for catching my mistake
Awesome win, but I will never understand a Kinnan deck running thoracle. Without black, thoracle is just such a horrible low quality card and theres so many ways to win after you have infinite mana and can draw your deck that require literally zero dead cards.
Sometimes there’s rule of law or silence effects. With thoracle u can win without needing to cast another spell.
It’s kind of crazy how bad of a deck K’rirk is that it folds to a single Daze (the only interaction they had) but yet the deck is popular.
It’s extremely fast, but if Krirk gets removed once or twice, or one of the main wincons is stopped it kinda struggles to get going, but that’s basically every mono-colored deck.
It’s almost a glass cannon. Not a deck I would have fun playing even while winning
@@jorjor500 It’s just very funny that needing to pay 1 colorless mana destroyed the whole deck
@@entertainmentinc9735 As a K'rrik player myself, if every tutor or reanimate spell is countered amongst blue players, you're pretty much on top deck mode. I learned this the hard way when I played K'rrik in a pod where the other 3 players were playing blue. And like I said, every tutor and/or reanimator spell was countered. Sadly, all I could do was attack with K'rrik and pass the turn.
Can we ban the oracle yet, for the love of god! Great gameplay all around.
Can we ban you?
@@PhoenixRNH Sure, if you can get more people to agree with you over me. Too bad you won't be able to.
@@stevierickmoyersr.8681 people who complain about Oracle need to get over it, it's not even as ubiquitous as dockside
First
Lmao
Seems horribly played by the other blue players tbh, mainly the Dargo and Malcolm players. Use all your interaction on the early attempts by K'rrik and then another blue player gets to set up multiple draw engines, no shit you couldn't stop all his interaction lmao
if you actually watched peter play you would know he has won consistently on turn 1 and 2, if buried alive or the tutor resolved,I can guarantee they would’ve lost the game
🥸🤓
Allowing buried alive to resolve for K’rrik is about like letting underworld breach resolve for Tymna/Kraum (or any red deck for that matter)
@@palace_gaming2256 Buried Alive sure, but at the point Peter casts Tutor it's obvious he's trying to tutor for interaction to stop Alex
@@palace_gaming2256 If you actually read in to what I was saying you would know I was talking about everything after that. I literally play the deck because of the first time I saw Peter on the channel. Buried Alive is a one card win con. The other blue players wasted interaction on him trying to slow the game down when he was trying to tutor for interaction and it bit them in the ass when the Kinann player drew like 12 cards over a-1-2 turn cycles.
