I have watched many of your videos and absolutely love them. You have such a way of teaching. You explain things clearly and simply, and go slowly enough for a beginner to follow. I am on a quest to fill my sketchbook. From a focus on people to loose urban sketching with ink and watercolors (paints, pencils, markers), I am moving through the lessons. Thank you, Toby.
Toby, I sketched along with you. I need to loosen up with my figures again. About a year ago I was sketching a lot of different figures with good results. I need to get that back.

And sometimes I think that might hinder finding what MY style is. I love how you encourage us to explore but not be afraid of what makes us comfortable, because that is where we will find our style. This lesson was very helpful. It was funny to see what felt more comfortable for me to draw and which I struggled with. Thank you again. I have fun sitting down and doing a few of your lessons in a row. They really help me relax and loosen up.
