Auto Fooler says, "Attach to spark plug opposite carburetor". In a couple of generations, people are going to say, "Spark plug? Carburetor? What are those?" lol.
Lol I didn’t even notice that!!! I thought they went under a tire!!
@@CodyBPyrotechnics Old person here. That's how they work. You pop off the spark plug wire, wrap the wire from the firework around the top of the plug, then put the spark plug wire back on. When the engine is started, it ignites the firework which is basically a whistling chaser. Scares the crap out of the person starting the car. I never did it but I knew kids who did. It's like throwing snowballs at cars, it doesn't end well. 😄
Many a gas leaking cars burned up.
Wow....the memories, I still have a card of the Auto Foolers that I picked up 40 years ago on a trip to S. Carolina. They were great even though a bit dangerous and a fire hazard.
Played a prank on my friend who thought his battery exploded when he turned the key.....loud whistling followed by an exploding firecracker and some smoke.
@@CodyBPyrotechnics Red snaps under the tire are the way to go for that prank.
Ahhh! Zebra, Anchor, Dixie Boy, Camel, and Bulldog, those were the firecrackers I grew up with. Then Black Cat came out and the rest is history. When you left the house with a few wooden matches in your front pocket, and a pack of Black Cat 16's in your back pocket, you were set for a day of mischief. Fun times!
Thank you Cody! I wish now, looking at the prices, I would have just kept my works from the 70's and 80's:) I really liked this vid!
I bought all those strike-on-box firecrackers that were in that acrylic box at 3:49 lol. That guy had great stuff!
I sometimes find old packs of fireworks that i had in the 70's thru the 80's & sometimes find older ones that my pops had ....only 1 problem,i usually light them off & amazing many still worked including 40 year old M80's & blockbusters, not just firecrackers & rockets
Super cool!!
Memories for sure. Especially Thunderbomb firecrackers🧨🧨
I love the old art on the packs.
Black cat fireworks I remember those back in the 90s they’re from the state Washington from the firework store black jacks. Used to see those fireworks at all the fireworks stands.
Seeing older stuff is fun. I saw lots of memories on that table from my 90s childhood. I do want to see real vintage m-80s being lit off one day.
yeah it takes me back to when there was a TNT Fireworks tent not even a mile from my house as a kid, good times.
And let’s hear it for the “Half-stick” Block Busters. 2000 g maybe
The auto Foolers have a wire that you hook up to the coil on your buddies engine, drop the hood and watch and listen to what happens when the owner starts the engine!! These things used to be called Whizz Bangs.
You need to try the new Majin Buu 8in canister shell's..
The Colorful Bird you picked up (I believe) is a variation on the Flying Bird fireworks I messed around with in the 80's (and have been searching for ever since). You place it on a hard surface upright with the fuse at the bottom and light it. Then, somehow without wings, a stick, fins or anything, it shoots up into the air like a rocket. I think the ones I had were called Small Flying Birds. I also remember Large Flying Birds. I imagine yours will have a colorful element to it. Oh, and the 'blankets' are actually quilts.
It's always great to see the older fireworks..
And people holding on to memories, etc..
Man, sold fireworks with my parents in the late 70's. Some of those were a throwback to see. 😊
I remember as an English 🏴 AFS student visiting a Farm in South Dakota in the late seventies in the long hot summer in the USA 🇺🇸 as a guest of Ma and Eugene , for a few days , their son , his friends and I swimming in their creek in the back of their farm , avoiding water snakes , and then setting off “ Cherry Bombs “ and letting off mini rockets at each other , danger never came into it in those days , and boy do I miss those times , seeing all those old fireworks bought the memories flooding back 😮 thank you so much .😢
Hey Cody, I’m sure we all would love a full stash/ collection video on your fireworks! Really sweet stuff.
Thanks Cody! Very interesting old firecracker packs.
Cody thank you so very much sir for showing us all the stuff in the tent and the stuff that you picked up. This is a great walk down memory lane to see all the fireworks that we never saw or the fireworks that we saw in LED off during the earlier days. Very beautiful Cody. ❤
That was great. I'd spend way too much in that tent. Cool stuff!
Great video Cody,I saw also old firecrackers from Europe that they sold.I love those products and you dont see dose products over here anymore.and I think the prices they ask are not bad.wish I can go over there next year.greetings from the Netherlands.
Great job nothing like the old fireworks thanks so much for sharing pyro bro 👍
Need your own travel agency.
Cody's Fireworks trips around America .
I will buy a few flight tickets 😂
Looks good love it I'll be at the badaboom swap meet on the 9th can't wait
always interests me that people can hold on to all these older fireworks. really cool
Right I would be too tempted to light them lol
There are still several brands that make the little News Transmitter cake. It is a whistle cake.
Wow! Look at all those vintage goodies! 🤩
That was cool, love this.
Thank you
👍👍👍😎😎😎
Love ur yearly pgi collectors corner vid, looking forward to your next vintage stash update
Wow this video brings back so many memories, from my childhood.
Positively loved this whole presentation Cody
It really took me back !
Heaven for all fireworks lover❤
Congrats on 1 million subscribers love the videos
I know you go on about your collection of old fireworks, but I had no idea you can have access to such an assortment of ancient pyro!😳
We get very few places to get fireworks and it’s a hassle just getting permission to fire them off..
That said I’ve got some M-80’s reserved, there hard to come by up here…I’m forgoing fireworks this Halloween for more big bangs , my bud has some green strobe M-80’s.. I’m going to get my things that blowed up freak on!😁
Great content Cody!😎👍👻🎃
“Made in Macau,” that was printed on every single package at one time!
“Quang Yick Fircrackers Manufactory”, that was my favorite name
I have no idea why I stopped getting alerts for your videos! I promise I didn't unsub I love the content! If you were wondering why not post it's because of that!
Brilliant Rays is a strobe pod that ends as a firecracker. I remember those.
When we were seniors in high school we went to the Joke Shops in Canada to buy tear gas matches and stinkbomben, those were the days🎉🎉🎉❤
At 2:49, I am 99.99999% sure those are Turkish made! They are called Feza, the most famous and probably only firecrackers in Turkey, even the word “torpil” means firecracker in Turkish, it’s SO interesting how they ended up in here, I’m actually super surprised 😅 and they are absolutely not vintage no sir
Update, around 21:40 I can see that it says Made in China (which makes sense because what would a Turkish firecracker do in USA) which means only one thing, the Chinese copied something so local and iconic until the label (again, Torpil is a Turkish word), I’m just very surprised to see all this, great video thank you Cody 😄
YES....! LOVE GOOD STUFF/OLDSCHOOL ❤
I’m 75 and I was a fireworks nut going back to the days of cap guns.
many cool stuff 👍
hey cody, can you make a firecracker comparison video, i would like that!
Antique fireworks, sounds save to me
3:59 Yhose yellow and red fireworks look like Crazy Kings. If they are, those are super loud for their size.
“ Quarter stick”, “Half stick”, everything was measured by a stick of dynamite
Maybe the largest blockbusters might have been equivalent to a real quarter stick of dynamite, but who knows when you are 10 years old everything looks gigantic. They had “Two Inchers” and Four Inchers, all filled with black powder. They weren’t that loud, but they did a lot of damage.
I need a couple Four Seasons Fountain for my collection. It’s a mini fountain from the 80’s
Cody you skipped right over the cherry bombs at 3:43 4:02 and 5:21. The cherry bombs are my favorite and I really wish I could of seen them closer.
I wouldn't be able to resist lighting vintage fireworks.
For the sake of collectors let's hope i never find any 😂
I used to love all the spinners from the helicopter family. They were called buzz bombs, silver jets, and you name it.
Cool 😎
Cody,
Those art quilts.
Quilting is a major creative and artistic tradition.
Calling them blankets is a major insult to the artists!
Cheers,
Rik Spector
My apologies!!! Lol I know all about quilting too so that’s embarrassing I didn’t put 2 & 2 together there 😂 I used to work at a hotel for almost 10 years, and we had the quilters retreat group come in every October! I should’ve known!
@@CodyBPyrotechnics I wasn't judging, stuff happens.
You are respectful person👍
They have so many firecrackers
Wish I was there with you cody🤘🤘💙💣💣💥
...missing a positively no smoking sign at the entrance 😂
Love it
I put a real blockbuster on the ground and I put a bicycle belt on top of it. The bell went out of sight.
When I was a little kid, I was scared of everything that made a loud noise. Cap guns used to make me cry.
One day some years later, I woke up and EVERYTHING CHANGED! Maybe I was 10 years old. I just couldn’t get enough fireworks every Fourth of July. They were so expensive imagine $.25 a pack. I would blow my whole allowance on fireworks.!
Something special on 1 November?
❤❤❤ from India
Before your time, Circa 1985, Flashing Thunder...single shot aerial, with M80 Charge....LOUD

Love the videos
Ahh for the great original M-80s. Those were the REAL Good old days, before the 500 Gram boloney!
That so cool
I like this kind of tent which is full of fire crackers
Damn,im 46 live in Florida came from NY,and man i remember 90% of these fireworks growing up,id of gone broke in that tent, and not gonna lie eould have np shooting them off, there not baseball cards,ik they dont really have value but then again some really have too
🎥👌
i have always wanted to go to pgi but never know when they are
they had krazy kings my favorite
Firework collectibles? Do they have a bin full of loose fingers?😂😂😂
20:23 Last century this package just sold for cents.
Go burn something now Cody Beeeeeeeeee! 😂
You should order a firecracker called "Cobra 8" from Europe
If in Minnesota how were you able to buy these fireworks
Cool
20:22 the Auto Fooler directions say to attach to the spark plug opposite the carburetor. Not under the tires. You really place these in where the motor is?
Yes. You do. They work. Me and a friend in highschool pranked another friend with his car he brought to school and clouds of light blue smoke billowed from his car from under the hood. He didn't talk with us for a few months!
@@metatechnologist I wouldn't talk to you for months either.
That would scare the ever loving sh!+ out of you.
It must have been fun though. Provided you're not the one who owns the car.
You forgot the bananas on the table
16:19 Quilts
By the way, those little bees they’re called bumblebees
Cody, when you talk about vintage fireworks, you are much too young for me.
Are used to go in my basement and open up M-80s and pour
the powder into 1 inch electrical conduit because it has a seam. You just lay the seam on the ground so that it doesn’t become shrapnel it goes straight
Now THAT was a BOOM!!
You should be able to get the Roller coasters firecrackers at the Roller Coaster store in Nevada.
I'll be a dead man before I pay $2 for a single pack of firecrackers
I wonder if you lit any of these if they would work?
And what about the old black powder 4 inchers?
You could do some real damage with those babies!
I wonder where the heck that stuff has been sitting for the past 50 years
Probably storage bins and totes! I have quite the collection of these things and it’s all in totes lol
Where’s this at, as a kid our family would go to Crystal Beach in Canada on the way we would buy Black Cats and Ladyfingers firecrackers 🧨 great times❤️
I guessing that most of those would be unsafe to light
Where are the jumping jacks? They were always so much fun and the ground bloom flower
Old school
Great video as always. Can I purchase the original m-80 fire crackers? I mean the ones that blow up under water and are capable of blowing off fingers. They were available when I was young. 😊 just wondering
If I ever go into a firework tent with all old classic fireworks for sale, I'd be going in debt for about 20 years and I foresee a divorce coming my way. Totally worth it!!
ohh shising chrackers from Netherlands ?
Fireworks? 😂
What’s the largest bunger(firecracker) they made ?
How many guys set off
one of those helicopter style spinners and put them on the ground? UPSIDE DOWN???
The ones called silver Jets the plastic ones were the culprits. You thought you had it right but it was upside down. That was always a thrill
I actually did that with an old 1970s Rozzi 2 stage silver jet on my channel!
Do these ever degrade or lose stability?
So those collectible/vintage fireworks....is it blasphemy to set them off or is that ok too lol
What does dot class c and early UN mean ?
Man i wish i knew what the best fireworks but if ik going for sky one then what the best ones
Their fountain 200 to 500 grams
Their snappers that you throw at the ground
Their sparkles snakes and unknown on i know
Their 200 gram Saturn missiles and cakes
Their 500gramsncakes
Single shot motors sizes and canister size
Parachute fire crackers smokes
And preloaded fireworks and their confetti's ones too and roman candle and rocket sky rockets
And i Need help Cody what the best ones
I love the old art on the packs.
