The Making of "City of Joy" - Nabil Shaban's Home Video of Pinewood shoot

After ten weeks of local harrassment from gangsters, petty politicians and trouble-stirring journalists while trying to film on location in Calcutta in 1991, the "City of Joy" production were finally chased out of India without completing all the filming. The cast and crew had to suddenly flee, and the entire set was dismantled and shipped out to England and rebuilt at Pinewood Studios. The shoot was resumed and the movie eventually completed.
Nabil Shaban who played "Anouar" in the film, took his camcorder with him and recorded the last few days of the shoot at Pinewood Studios.
