In SFL JP, the audiences did mention Leshar might be the strongest in that league. Close to compete would be Hikaru, but Hikaru has yet to make a name for himself enough to be considered among top players. Win something is what Hikaru need now
For me my world wide top 5 for Season 2 is 1. Punk(1st EVO, CEO) 2. XiaoHai(1st EWC, top 8 at EVO, 2nd at UFA) 3. Mena(1st EVO Japan, 1st RBK NY, 1st Cream City) 4. It really scares me how easily people were persuaded about Ken. The consensus was he was top when the game came out and people stuck with that and won’t change their mind. If people are that easily persuaded, and are that hard to change their mind then we’re doomed as a society. I’ve never seen a character be pushed to be number one so hard and their not winning tournament like that. It’s weird.
It's decision fatigue. Its been going around since the beginning of time. People learn something when its new and exciting and then still have that opinion despite things changing. The problem is how quickly games change, the average passerby cant keep up. Regardless, this is more online gaming moving faster than people care to keep up with, but we all like to go online and speak an opinion we deem harmless for a sense of belonging. You are equating society to a game that %1 of the world is even aware of. A person who barely plays thinks Ken is good. So what?

Big Bird is right, Ken is not better than either Akuma and Ryu, all three classic shotos are well balanced. Ken has no DR overhead, and can only cr. Jab twice. His run stance and optimal corner play such as Jinrai loops require more execution than the other two. His cr. Forward is 1 frames faster, but less distance in hitbox vs. Akuma. And Ken sucks at zoning, I get clipped even with OD FB. The S2 change makes meaty st. Fierce much more difficult to time, there’s no frame kill in the corner.
