David Stanley said the night of Elvis funeral, Priscilla asked him out for drinks & they were making out in his car! She was telling him about selling a film about all the people at the funeral. One of the maids also stated that Priscilla was laughing on her way upstairs to Elvis bedroom & she at first thought she was crying. Priscilla took the jewelry box out of the bedroom for herself. I remember when he and his group, including Priscilla, had all gone snowmobiling while they were still married, so he must have done it more than once and brought different people each time. I feel so sad for Elvis. It makes me angry she wants to be buried near him. People go to see Elvis, it's not about her. I've tried to like her over the years, as a fan. Not defending Priscilla, but when I divorced I kept my ex-husband's last name because we had a child together. In fact, in the '70s, you had to put a special clause in the divorce papers in order to change your name back to your maiden name. Prissy didn't "approve" of the book, but she was, in fact, "interviewed" for "Child Bride." That's what makes the book so good because the author juxtaposes Prissy's comments along with the others that she interviewed dating back to middle school. I'm glad you brought this up. I recently finished Mike Edwards book and he did mention how Prissy's boyfriend was there and how she relented and came downstairs to speak with EP. Mike E. said it was after a night of "recording," but everything points to it was after a night of snowmobiling. Overall, I agree with what was said in "Child Bride" by Shirley Dieu, Joe E.'s girlfriend. Shirley D. said that Prissy was so rude and disprespectful to EP. There is another interview of Shirley D. by Joe Krein. In this interview, they discussed this topic and Shirley D. said, Wow, I've got "egg all over my face" because me and Prissy finally talked about this. Prissy told me that the reason she was making faces was because EP's pajamas were showing underneathe his snowmobile suit!! What a hoot!! Of course, that was around the same time that Shirley D. was writing her book and she discovered that Prissy was a "true friend." She had a hard time "selling it" in the interview. I know I didn't buy it. FYI, you know there was another instance in "Child Bride" where Sheila Ryan said that Prissy was "rolling her eyes" at EP. She's a "piece of work" no matter how you cut it.

In 1976.. he was on a roller coaster with his moods and medication. But In later 1976.. when Ginger was part of his life.. Elvis thinned down and was doing some of his best concerts.

I recently finished reading Mike Edwards book, "Priscilla, Elvis & Me." Mike E. was introduced to Prissy in 7/78 by his friend who knew her, at a party she was hosting. His friend, in 1978, described Prissy as "AMBITIOUS, MANIPULATING AND CALCULATING.." "She'd outgrow you and drop you just like she did Elvis." "She couldn't do that to me, as we are both RUTHLESS." I took a lot of comfort when reading this quote as it confirms my description of Prissy as being a MANIPULATIVE, CONNIVING SNAKE.

This is off topic, but I think Priscilla’s desire to be buried at Graceland is odd, considering her hatred of Graceland and her lies painting Elvis as a buffoon and monster. In addition, it is apparent that neither Elvis nor Lisa Marie wanted her there. Keeping all this in mind, I think that, in addition to her massive ego at play, she sees being buried there as giving her final ‘middle finger’ to Elvis, Lisa Marie, and Elvis’ fans.
You do know Elvis had many affairs while with Priscilla?notably with Ann Margaret,I think Elvis was a great entertainer but he wasn't perfect like some fans think he was and had many vices.

He wouldn't have even known I existed and I don't live my life by "would haves" or "maybes". I thank her for opening Graceland but she also filed a lawsuit right after Lisa died.... Hollywood's movie about Elvis came out with Oscar nominations but she had to force feed us the Priscilla movie soon after even thou the made for tv movie came out years ago....the lawsuit is what turned me plus she misses the spotlight......Lisa died and left 3 surviving kids and Grandma files a lawsuit????

All of it was already underway when Vernon got sick and died. Priscilla simply stood out of the way and didn't block Elvis' original plans, she deserved no credit for it. Only Elvis!

I am A Elvis fan I look at all of these stories like this ! It's only one sided stories! From the day Elvis passed away she started acting like the window of Elvis! Because she knew now she could get back what she thought she deserved for being in a Relationship with Elvis all those years!

I do know that leading up to Lisa Marie death she read a copy of the not so new book of her mother and when she found out her mother was making into another movie Lisa Marie was very upset with her! In fact she asked her mother not to do it! So at the end of Lisa's life she had so much heartbreak in fact just as her father Elvis grieve his life to a Early Death he never gotten over his mother's death! I have heard Priscilla say, she was afraid she wasn't going to be able to remember things much longer, and that was about 2 years ago. Reading her book "Elvis and Me" I don't think she had a great memory even back then. (Just my opinion). I do think everything is about Priscilla. (Again just my opinion.) When Priscilla spoke to Piers Morgan she told him that she " had to pack up Lisa and explain to Lisa who was very little that her daddy died. We had to get to Graceland". ( If I myself remember correctly) Priscilla just ran through the interview. Lisa was at Graceland when Elvis passed!! 9 year old Lisa is the one who calls Priscilla and supposedly tells her. Priscilla seems fragile and frail and yet when she wants or needs something Priscilla can pull herself and take charge and assemble people to side with her especially lawyers or witnesses or attorneys or... In late May 2024 Priscilla will turn 80 years old and I understand how she is concerned about her health. I'm not a fan of Priscilla's but she was very tough and very determined to get her granddaughter to get her buried at Graceland when her time comes. Again, Priscilla knows how and when to pull herself together if she wants something. You can do anything when you are a narcissist.

To be fair though, a number of the health and addictive habits Lisa seemed to have are very similar to the ones Elvis dealt with. And in both cases are likely hereditary, since those issues also show up in others on Elvis' side of the DNA tree.

Lost nine pounds when she was first pregnant and then ended up gaining ten. At the time of the birth she was about the same size not even needing maternity clothes.

I am sure Priscilla read the book, "Elvis What Happened?". I recently read it and I noticed she took many stories and made them her own. Red said the last 3 years of their marriage Elvis saw her about 15% of the time. Therefore, she has to steal other people's memories because she wasn't around.

For someone who is pushing 80 now Priscilla really looks incredible - be it natural or cosmetic. Lucky Lucky her. She's also the one who borrowed money from a friend to pay for printing costs of her book and never paid her back. So I wouldn't believe what she has to say to start with. Who knows...maybe he wasn't so interested in her knowing she was having an affair with someone else. You have never listened to Elvis' version...I doubt every single word she says, considering all her contradictions through the years.

I try not too take these trivial stories too seriously. In Elvis is the man description, he even writes to take these stories with a grain of salt.
As for the stories about Elvis still loving Priscilla and how he acted around her, just more stories.
Whenever someone makes a statement about how Elvis felt about anything, I always have the same thought. Elvis isn't here to answer these questions and other people in his life give their opinions but they can't answer for him because they were not inside his head or heart. If he was here he may not have wanted to ever make his personal feelings known in a book etc.
Maybe he just didn't like losing what was once his and wanted to win her back. All just guessing.
As for Priscilla, she's had her book Elvis and Me, then we had the Priscilla movie. I recently heard that she will be coming out with another book. For those who are interested, that's fine. Personally, I've heard enough from her. Thanks.💖

I heard the story as Priscilla was laughing WITH Elvis not AT Elvis. They laughed at his pajamas and shirt hanging out from his jacket. Maybe Elvis appeared disheveled. It was just something simple.
Most of Priscilla’s stories are being found to be un true the sad thing is there are not many Elvis people left to collaborate her stories. She got me in the interview with piers Morgan when she forgot Lisa was staying with Elvis when he died making out she had to tell her. What a crock . What does it say when the first person Lisa called was Linda to tell her about Elvis and not her own mother!
How could a mother forget where her daughter was the day the father died? Lisa saw her daddy dead on the floor. My gosh, I would take my child to therapy. Its just horrible because every picture of Lisa before she had children had a frown on her pretty face. She never did well with the loss of her daddy. I pray they are happy in heaven together. All the money in the world, I would not want that life.

I think that after the divorce she almost had like a vendetta against Elvis. I really don’t know why that would be , except her flawed personality.

If I understand your telling of the story correctly, this meeting took place in Southern California. However, the idea that Elvis had gone to the house after riding a snowmobile doesn't add up. You'd have to drive a few hours to Big Bear for any snow in SoCal, and there wouldn't have been snow if it wasn't winter. If Elvis had come from Lake Tahoe, there still wouldn't have been snow if it was summer, and if it was winter and he flew to L.A., he would certainly have changed clothes on the plane. Something doesn't add up. The other day I saw the picture of Elvis wearing the turban at a karate school. It's possible that Elvis could have worn something just to be different or to suit whatever mood he was in. But there's something about snowmobiles in summer in L.A. that doesn't make sense.
3 different people: David Stanley, Mike Edwards, and Shirley Dieu all stated Elvis went over to see Priscilla around the final 1976 at her Summit home. Mike specifies he wore a jumpsuit and had greasy hair after a recording which Priscilla told him he wanted to get back with her. Shirley stated Elvis wore a snowmobile suit and not a jumpsuit. Out of the 2, Shirley had nothing to gain from the story:
"We had just been to Vail and we had been snowmobiling, and Elvis had taken a liking to these overalls that zipped up the front to keep you warm. And it was cold and he was wearing a snowmobile suit. Not an Elvis onstage suit."
You also forget that Elvis had a plane that he used as like a very often like a car.

If it was winter, it could have been cold in LA (I live in Southern California) but probably not dressed-for-snow cold. But, being Elvis, he could have worn the outfit "just because." And Shirley's explanation makes sense, but you must concede that the goggles and suit are a bit over the top. In my original post I don't think I was clear on when the meeting took place. I do think Priscilla's version of all things Elvis tends to paint her in the best light as if she's the hero, such as "he wanted to get back with me" and "he was lonely after the divorce." She has definitely enriched herself off the Presley name, but maybe she deserves it for all she went through.
I listen to Elvis' best recordings; watch his best movies and concerts; collect mostly vinyls. Otherwise I refuse to comment or notice subjects that are irrelevant to me when it comes to Elvis. I merely enjoy what was excellent so nothing else matters . My approach only...🖖

I need to clarify this years later I found out that Priscilla was actually laughing at his pajamas because he did have a pair of pajamas underneath the snowmobile suit so the pajama bottoms kept slipping out and Elvis kept tucking them in and losing his balance a little bit which was funny but I didn’t know that’s what she was laughing at. I found out years later, that that’s what she was actually laughing at and I apologize to her.
If that snowmobile suit was similar to the one that is on the photo, then I assume that Elvis looked modern and ahead of his time. Nowadays, almost everyone wear those type of winter coats.

According to City of Memphis and the division that handles zoning, no additional graves have been approved. It was zoned for six, and at this time still is. For Priscilla to be buried there they need approval, because there are six graves on the property. Hoping this is Riley’s out.

Shirley Dieu is a close & dear friend of mine, I respect and adore her very much. In case some of you may not know this about her, she is one of the most intelligent, street smart, and common sensed people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She doesn't sugar coat things, she's a 'says it like it is' type of person. I always feel so fortunate that I can call her a dear and close friend, not because of her life experience with Elvis decades ago, because she's a solid, wonderful, kind, smart and caring friend, basically she's everything a person could ever ask for in a friend, that's Shirley.

Just prior to this they'd all be out in Aspen, Colorado and Elvis had really liked the snowmobile suit that he wore out there so he was wearing it that night in Los Angeles lol. Anyways he had his pajamas on under the snow suit and his pajama pants kept falling down underneath the snow suit. This is what Pricilla was laughing at but Shirley thought she was laughing at the car which she wasn't. Shirley long ago talked to Pricilla about it and it was all good. They are still good friends to this day and regularly chat and get together.

Can you spell narcissist. She seemed to view Elvis’s nothing more than supply in their relationship, especially theme latter years. He was so soft-hearted and sensitive about his weight. To make fun of him like this is just cruel as all get out.
