Music sort of describes what is going on without directly telling what is going on. Sort of like how pain is describing to you what is happening without actually directly telling you what is harming your body. Music always seems to be trying to tell a story no matter how dark or happy or sad or gruesome or lost. It took me awhile to come to this conclusion, I play cello and while writing music I became interested in trying to figure out what the music is describing without saying. It’s not only about how is makes one feel, but also what it’s saying.

Pal that’s what I’m saying. I have a family member in prison for something he did not do. Wrong place wrong time will get u killed or in prison. Death by seeing a crime being committed or prison because you were walking by when the crime happened so people start pointing evidence towards you. Death row is sooo much worse I can only imagine how many inocente people are dying. Prison makes u crazy, with police and other inmates pressuring, u might end up wanting death row.

Yes! Of course although I wanted to know why you chose to _include_ the second question as well? Specifically I was wondering if you felt any fear towards the killers, serial killers, sex offenders, and others when they're awaiting for execution and how they're going to be killed.
The reason why you have feelings of fear about it… _precisely_ are you _scared for “them”?_ Or are you scared for those (innocently convicted) who were accused and _didn't commit_ the crimes? _Or both?_ 😯

    • @Inamichan
      @Inamichan 6 років тому +5

Peppermint Twixt as a general rule I don’t really like people. That being said I do not wish death upon people USUALLY. For me I fear convicting someone who doesn’t deserve it like you said, but I also believe that some can be rehabilitated and so life in prison is also a viable option. There are some cases where I believe that they should be killed because of how horrible their actions were and how they seem like they wouldn’t be able to be rehabilitated.
I know I’m being confusing but honestly I don’t know. I judge each case and determine my feelings after that. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I totally agree. I especially feel that lethal injection is so inhumane with all the research that shows that they often don't give enough of the first drug to knock out the person. It's such an expensive option too. So it's painful and expensive and the last 10 minutes of an inmates life they are trapped within their body unable to move. It's just crazy. We condemn these people, but we torture them back. It just feels like if we have to do it, we should at least have a more humane way to go about it.

I am confused. I had a few pets that sadly had to be put down. The small ones go into a gas chamber where they will 'fall asleep', then the vet will give them a lethal potassium injection straight into the heart. With larger animals, like cats for example, I actually held my cat being injected [once] and she passed away within two to three seconds, very peacefully.
Euthanesia clinics like in switzerland, give the customers a small drink so that the next lethal drink will stay down. The customer drinks it and literally falls asleep for a few minutes before passing away with no problems or pain.
So why is the punitive lethal injection so crap and so unreliable? Well, for one I hope it is to cause pain deliberately. 99.9% of prisoners on death row have murdered others in order to be there. Often with rape or torture included, so I personally don't see a problem with the prisoners dying in pain. However if others are so aghast by that, why not use what is used for animals and humans without a problem in other areas?

The wise will always say, no one deserves to die in such pain. Regardless of his/her sins. To show mercy to those who may not show mercy to those we love, does not liberate them from justice. But delivers us from becoming the very monsters that we condemn ourselves. Thus, in avenging our loved ones by showing mercy and care to those we may hate, we did not make their deaths the responsible cause for our fallen souls. But in showing kindness, even if we felt they did not deserve it, was the instrument to strengthening ourselves and in our loved one's passing. They left a legacy of strengthening us to be better than those that took them away from us. To not succumb to the weakness of believing a life is contempt

Calling the death penalty “state sanctioned murder” is as sick and asinine as calling speeding tickets “state sanctioned theft,” or calling prison sentences “state sanctioned kidnapping.” It’s a punishment that fits the crime. And the thing that is so frustrating is that it is impossible to truly pay because the innocent life had so much value especially if they were a child. The criminal is a pos with no value.

I don’t agree with the death sentence. What if they were later found innocent. Also it doesn’t really serve justice, if they have a life sentence it kind of gives them a fast track to get it over with. People say that if they killed people then they should die and obviously their victims suffered however if they killed a family member of mine I would want them to be locked up a long time to reflect in a way. If one of my family members killed someone I wouldn’t want them euthanised. Some people say that we shouldn’t waste our taxes on them and in prison you get too many privileges however only a small amount of your taxes goes to prisons and if you killed someone you don’t exactly get to roam free around the prison. I saw one comment saying they get WiFi but what are they going to use it for, they have no devices. They are stuck jn a cell most hours of the day I don’t want to give them an easy way to finish their sentence.

Instead of executing them by injection, it should be that the victims family (in the case of a murder) would be able to decide what happens to the defendant including how they die. Here in Australia, the native Aboriginal peoples have a fair principal of "An eye for an eye". This deters almost all criminal activity towards their tribes while maintaining a harmonious coexistence. All these people screaming and crying that capital punishment is inhumane are mislead. You should have nothing to fear if you are doing the right thing, END OF STORY.

I have also heard that some of the families of the victims have walked away afterwards and been quite surprised that they didn't really get what they came for or the sort of closure that they had hoped for.
I have heard stories from a death row employee and they have said that he thinks that some of the relatives expect or want to see the person who is due to be executed squirming in pain and are often left quite deflated by the execution process.
He has said that there's really not a lot to see.
Also one of the companies that used to supply one of the drugs is based in Denmark and when word reached them about what their product was being used for they stopped supplying it.
They were quite horrified as they say that the intended purpose was to help keep people alive and not to be used to kill.

Yes it would be quick and painless on your end but there would also be a huge mess that would need to be cleaned the blood and bits and what ever comes out of your body after death

It’s because it’s showing death, what the world tries to distract from you and cover up.

I watched this video to see if the inmates feel anything and it boils my blood to know that they could be in agonising pain but are sedated so they don’t feel nothing. If inmates are on death row especially for rape, torture and murder they should feel ALL if not more pain then their victims felt

They should have only put in Potassium Chloride, the inmate needs how to feel like how we suffer.

The purpose of execution is not to cause pain or suffering - that’s just revenge. A legal execution is to administer justice.

Man if an inmate commits a crime THAT bad where he/she receives death penalty. Who cares if it isnt humane or it hurts them. They should have thought about that before they committing the crime. The US is so dumb with this stuff. Oh he killed 35 people but the death penalty is inhumane. Instead we'll keep him locked up and feed him and give him a bed
