Actually, there is a huge point that practically all people ignore. I learn that on the Rexlent last stream (at the end of the PGR beta stream showcasing S Wanshi). This point can be "game changer" in the mind of many people "combat oriented" and it is not know because it seem to be a CN community thing (bilibili video). Like we all know now, the gameplay rely more on quick swap style (outro/intro skills help a lot) than the classic genshin style with precises combos chain apply "slowly" for reactions. Wuthering waves have faster style and more characters rotation combine INTO each other and not AFTER each other like in PGR. The exemple was calcaro / yinlin, where in a long animation lock from calcaro you can switch to yinlin and do 2sec of short dps rotation to come back to calcaro still in his animation and the character doesnt exit the field, you "retake" it. This switch style is more "subtle" and calculated, allowing more complex rotation between characters. this is a good potential for the future (with new kits and the 2nd generations of characters later). Rexlent explain way better than me, sorry.
I think that investing in upcoming characters would be more beneficial in the long term than investing in the current ones. Verina is a 5-star character who is overpowered, so it's easy to clear early-game content with any 4-star character like Chixia or the red-haired Katana girl.

Traditionaly gacha give you at least the equivalent of one character in ressources per patch. In genshin after the first year I had more ressources than I needed.

What looks a optimal endgame rotation in a "synergistic" team at max potential ? I dont see that on youtube, but on bilibili it seems exist. Swaping style seems to be the main gameplay, not like genshin where you can on field with a main or quick swap. Actualy the game not seems to be made for main dps on field gameplay (seems really boring in this game) and ppl tend to like/seach it (in genshin) because they love one character and when to "all in" it. So I think ppl need to be aware about that to no have false hope for the game.

It's probably because many guides already do that. Not to mention, there are many pgr players who don't play Genshin and won't know what the references mean. As someone who played both, I think it's the most simple way for everyone to understand.

For rover, is levelling skill is needed at all if you play optimally (by only using skill when having a stack of forte circuit). Coz from what I can see from rover tutorial stage in yt vids, skill usage with forte stack only has 4 unique dmg instances (which align with the 4 skill dmg multipliers from levelling the forte circuit), but I don't see any dmg that seems to come from levelling the base skill multiplier.
How do you “mark it off on the map” once you found it? Like an online map or the map in game? What website if online? Thank you for this beginners tips! This will be my first gacha game
(I haven't actually played WuWa yet but a lot of it's mechanics are similar to genshin so I'm assuming) when you open the map you can click anywhere on the map and it'll allow you to put markers on the spot where you clicked.
@@ChiiBomb in genshin it was about 100 something then after the map got bigger they increased the amount of markers you can place, so i assume it'll be the same case in WuWa as well. Also yes, it'd clutter your map, but if you plan to collect them all and then mark it off on a website later you could unmark the markers on the map and declutter your map. But it's all up to personal choice, really. Not every player likes to collect everything.

really hope there is a setting to disable burst animation. that was so annoying in genshin. imagine fighting a super hard enemy then suddenly you have to watch a useless cutscene just to use burst. really hope i can disable hitlag if there is any. also might be nice if there is a video to show what settings to use that affect gameplay. like for example battle camera settings.

Funnily enough, as long as they don't plan to have a map expansion every other patch, I could see patches being 5 weeks like pgr. Events, some new enemies, new endgame content, qol, and story content.

I think most people doesn't even care who copy who , we just want a good game to enjoy ourself. If it not for you , its fair. No one forcing you.
Genshin copied everything from Breath of the Wild. Not to mention, most of the things this game has, including the textures, are from PGR. Also, adult characters actually look like adults. Genshin is most people's first Gacha game, that's why they compare everything to Genshin.
