  • Wounds: Armie Hammer, Zazie Beetz and Babak Anvari Interview
One of the many films to world premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival was writer-director Babak Anvari’s (Under the Shadows) psychological nightmare Wounds. The film is about a bartender (Armie Hammer) in New Orleans whose life starts to unravel after he takes home a phone left at the bar. Trust me, Wounds has some pretty messed up imagery and it’s definitely worth seeing when it comes out in theaters. It’s also one of those films where the less you know the better. The film also stars Dakota Johnson and Zazie Beetz.
Shortly before the world premiere I got to sit down with Armie Hammer, Zazie Beetz and Babak Anvari at the Collider Studio in Park City for an exclusive video interview. During the wide-ranging conversation, they talked about what the film is about, what it was like filming in New Orleans, how they all first met, why working with cockroaches sucks, memorable moments from filming, and more.
In addition, the three played “Get To Know Your Sundance Attendee” which includes a number of questions like what TV show they’d like to guest-star on, what’s their favorite fantasy or sci-fi movie, what film scared them as a kid, their first movie or TV show crush, if they prefer Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad, what got them interested in the entertainment industry, and a lot of other fun stuff.

Soeinen beschissenen Film hab ich noch nie gesehen wieso wechselt ihr 3 superhelden nicht den Job? Sie=putzfrau, er(Mitte)=Schausteller, er(rechts)=baumarktverkäufer

So the bartender was shallow because he maintains a easy-going life and doesn't take stuff too seriously? That makes him hollow?
I'm just trying to understand what this film is saying.
