Hello! For added support, use 1/4 inch elastic on the bottom seam of the top and to add more body to the tiny straps, inserting 1/8 inch elastic or a thin strip of transparent cotton lining inside the strap is a good trick. :)
OMG I LOVE YOU MWA, I HAVE A WHOLE TRIP IM GOING TO AND I NEEDED A SWIMSUIT AND THIS JUST FRENCH KISS SOLVED MY PROBLEMS TY. Like I gotta look cute b4 the time comes yk 😏
Hi I love your work so much! But I’m very confused with my pattern, I followed printing instructions but I’m not sure why my patterns look more squared and in the video your top looks more rectangle like. I’m not sure if I did something wrong but please lmk!
Thank you! Yes, add the elastic on the bottom seam of the top if you like for added support, using a wider zig zag stitch. If you use, a small zig zag stitch, it will deteriorate the rubber elastic. Also cut the elastic 0.25 inch on a slant before the ends, so that the corners aren’t bulky. :)
Yes, it will work with this type of material, however you might need to size up or down, depending on the amount of stretch that your fabric has. I suggest making a sample first and than making adjustments accordingly. :)

@@mangocoastpatterns omg I did not I completely forgot to copy that down on my tracing paper so I forgot I had to! Thank you so much!!
You’re so talented. Love your bikinis!

Love this!! Any tips on how to add elastic?

How long are the straps/length of top? Trying to see if I can use some material I already have
Hi Amy! It’s all in the instructions pdf that comes with the pattern. Link in bio 🤍
Will this work with regular cotton material or like a stretchy tshirt material? To wear as a top instead of bikini top
Yes, it will work with this type of material, however you might need to size up or down, depending on the amount of stretch that your fabric has. I suggest making a sample first and than making adjustments accordingly. :)
What material would you recommend for it as a swimsuit top? ☺️ silly question lol but I’m a complete beginner! X
@@niamhfenner194 That’s ok! Use swimwear fabric, I recommend 80 % poly 20 % spandex. :)
I just bought the pattern but I can't figure out how long to make the straps
Hello Este, the strap is included in the pattern.
do you use nylon or cotton threading? For some reason the zig zag stitch won't go through the swimwear fabric.
I use gutterman polyester thread. Check your tension settings and also your needle might need to be replaced.
Can you use a serger on the sides? Or would the straps interfere w the stitches from a serger
Yes, you can use a serger. 😀
hi i just purchased!! when it says cut on fold, do we fold the cutout fabric in half and cut? or cut the edges where the indents are?
Hello! You will fold your fabric in half and place your pattern on the fold, than cut it out. 🙂
@@mangocoastpatterns thank you so much for your quick and helpful response! (: i'm so excited to try ur pattern!

which software you use to draw the images? :) thanks in advance
where do you get your fabrics?
Hi Patty, I get them at Tonitex in Montreal.
Hi !
Where did you buy the tissue?
Hi! Tonitex in Montreal :)
Amo el top, cuales serían las medidas del rectángulo?
Hola, para las medidas, puedes comprar el patrón en mi tienda, el enlace está en la descripción. Gracias 😃
Hi, what kind of machine do you have?
Hi Taylor, I’ve just upgraded to a baby lock verve. :)
What are the measures?
Hello, click the link in the description box, it has all the info. 💓🪡
Saludos, no salen las medidas
What material did you use?
Hello Madison, 80/20 poly span, 4 way stretch.
Add a ruffle/flounce and it's perfect for flat chested women or women with a mastectomy/explanted.
Il tutorial e bellissimo ma non capisco la lingua quanto più piccolo sopra??
